When did you set this up for and did you go through a host?

How many bottles you're doing, if you booked with a host or reservations and on what night is going to determine your location.

Dance Floor and Patio are the most requested. Beyond that there are certain tables in each section that people favor.

We have contacted J Roc but he is taking forever to get back to us. He said he would do buy 2 get 1 free at Moon Friday August 19. He told me to call him at 1 today so I did and he didn't answer. I've sent him a couple text messages and he isn't getting back to me. Has anyone on here used him in the past? Is he reliable? Any other host contacts you would recommend?

I am a VIP Host at Palms. JRoc is our Director of Special Promotions. He is a great person to go through as far as going high up on the food chain, but he's super busy.

If he isn't getting back to you I would say feel free to go through myself, Janelle or ***** Hart. All of us are VIP Hosts and active on the forums.

Hes reliable, but like Phil said he has a lot on his plate. I wouldnt sweat it considering your still a week away.

Pasquale is another one who is an awesome, reliable guy with a lot on his plate. He is our VIP Director. You're going to get more hands on service (from booking to being taken care of when you're at the venue) from a VIP Host, simply because that is our only job. It's what we're there to do.

Most of the time I would roll my eyes at a comment like Phils, thinking hes just trying to market himself. BUT over the years Ive seen some great host grow in to some great positions at there establishment and create a huge client base. Unfortunately, Ive also noticed those same host become less personable and sometimes make new, lower level customers feel like they dont really need their business. It happens.

Im not at all saying this about JRoc or Pasquale. I havent even visited a Palms club in over a year, maybe 2. Just confirming what Phil is saying happens. I suspect its why you can get different pricing too. Not all host can fill their tables with Whales every weekend.

On the flip side, if I received a 100 inquiries a day asking if I can do 1 bottle on Saturday night for 20 guys, Id prob. become less personable at some point too.

It's not even that they're less personable or not incredible at what they do- it's just a simple fact that they aren't VIP Hosts anymore.

I honestly don't understand how Pasquale or JRoc sleep- they have so much on their plate it's unbelievable- and that's before bottle service requests or taking care of guests. They've both earned and deserve every ounce of respect they have in the industry (and it's a lot). It's no disrespect meant in saying I would recommend going through a host over a director if you're not already acquainted. And i'd like to think it's not purely selfish/self marketing.

The fact of the matter is the only thing on a Host's plate is booking bottles and taking care of the people who drink them. Me, Janelle and ***** are all pretty active members- so I recommend us, but all of our Hosts are great.
