Question about tables and hosts

Do the hosts stick around all night?

if I get a table and some of my group can't show up until an hour or two later, can I get the host to get my friends in?

What if we all leave the table for a few minutes, will other people sit down and drink our alcohol?

Yes they stick around most of the night. If its 3am, I wouldn't expect the host to be still outside, but some do stick around that late. You can always text them to see who they can refer you to should there be an issue. If you need to get more people in, I suggest negotiating this with your host and getting the OK first. If you leave your table, people won't sit down at your table. You have a security guy that works your area, just tip him some money and make sure he watches your things. Your best bet is always have one person behind as the table watcher.

Had a group last MDW at Tryst and we had 2 out of 12 people come in 2 hours later around midnight. Just made sure to tell the host and the clipboard woman that I had some stragglers. They were able to get past the crazy mob lines with no problems.

And you had a post in a previous thread about "greasing" hosts and the amount. I just tell them what I'm willing to part with and to me it cuts through all the awkwardness. I just text him "What can a $X handshake get me?" Then the ball is in his/her court. I can't go any higher and they know what they are going to get. And I can't blame them for taking a higher amount from another person.... I mean business is business right? It's small supply and outrageous demand.

Take a look at some of the trip reports and the bills posted. Like the guy who dropped 189K ... yes $189,000. That makes my bills (combined) look microscopic!

Which leads into your last question which was do all people grease their hosts or just JC members? It's the nature of the town.

So you may be saying that your money is the same color as theirs right? Yeah that's true ... but some people have a lot more to throw around.

So if you are:

1. Independently wealthy, so you don't care
2. Famous Celebrity
3. Hot female
4. Group of hot females

Then you have a good shot to not have to bribe to get your way in.

If you are a guy in Vegas, then you've got to throw some cash around to get into the more popular clubs. But don't feel like you have to get a 2nd mortgage to have fun. As long as you're with your friends you can make the hotel lounge the best party you've ever had. Just go in with the right attitude and have fun.
