Hate starting a new thread, but LDW BS for Fri night...

Sorry guys, I've read over just about every thread I can find and now my head is spinning.

6 guys, late 20's/early 30's coming into town Sept 2-4 over LDW. We're staying at MGM and I'm looking to set us up with BS Fri night. I have one night to make it happen. Hip/Hop/Top 40/House is fine as long as it's not 100%.

In the past few years on trips to Vegas I've been able to do BS at a few places - TAO (thurs, fri), XS (sat), and Bank (sun). I had a great time at all, so I'm looking what you would recommend for the one Fri night we'll be able to do it this year.

Normally, I wouldn't be so concerned if one night was a little off since I'd just try to make it up at another place the next night, but it's going to be alot of these guys first and maybe only time being able to do BS in vegas, and I want it to be great for them. Sat we'll be hitting a strip club most likely and maybe WET during the day, so BS for that night is most likely out.

Anyway, the thing I'm torn with is trying for an XS, Marquee, Tryst, TAO, or something similar with higher price and worse location for Fri.. or bumping it down to a JET or the like for lower price and better location.

For the experts here, what club would you look to do for the one night out for BS over LDW? I appreciate any input.

We are trying to figure the same thing out! I was thinking Chateau or Tryst or JET friday with my girls but so far its leaning towards Chateau bc we've never been there and then after hours at Drais.... Marquee is good for BS tho if you like Armin Van Buuren

Thanks, I was kind of leaning towards shooting for Tryst since I've never been. What kind of music would they be playing that night, do you know? It seems like most of the places have special guests in town for labor day.

Tryst is a good choice. If price is a concern, I would stay away from XS/Marquee on a Friday night.

Try the Palms one night BS includes VIP access to all 4 clubs (Playboy, Moon, Ghostbar & Rain). That's 4 Clubs within walking distance for the price of 1, like bar-hopping on bourbon street but all owned by the same company.

Been thinking about that too, what's the best spot out of those to setup bs. I'm not sure how much hopping around we would do. Maybe a stupid question, if we did hop around, can you take your drinks in and out? I doubt we'd want to pay for service and then have to buy something if we wanted to check out another spot.

DJ Spider is spinning that night. Pretty sure he plays a little bit of everything (House, hip hop, top 40 etc...).

Think like this...

Blowout: 2k minimum + 500 tip/tax +400 Handshake 4 bottles great location

Great Night: 1500k min + 400 Tip/tax +300 Handshake 3 bottles good location

Just getting by: 1k min + 300 Tip/tax + 200 Handshake 2 bottles & your location will suffer...

On all of those setups you are gonna be looking at redbulls & waters to fill in the unused mins...

if we could get all that. What are normal bottle prices at Tryst? Labor day usually jacks those up so it may be tough to get all that right?

So when someone quotes me a min, I realize we have to spend that to get that certain table, but does that include tax or just the base bottle price? Say we got a $2k quote for certain table location and 4 bottles was $1800, so just a bit under the 2k min..would we have to buy the next bottle or could we cover that with a tip to the host to meet it. Or like you said, we would just buy water/redbull to meet it? Just trying to figure this out so I can give my group a good estimate. And the standard tip to the host is ~$100 per bottle it seems?

-Ghostbar is the very chic lounge with a great strip view
-Rain is the true mega nightclub where everything is focused on the dancefloor & the stage.
-Playboy is the classic lounge with bunnies & gaming
-Moon is the upscale club with a retractable roof

not a stupid question, but my stupidass forgot to answer it. No you must dispose of drinks before you enter each venue. This past weekend I had a group of 8 guys who did a bottle at Ghostbar then another at Rain. They rather enjoyed the doubleheader.

Question about Tryst bc I dont know dj spider what kind of music does he pay bc i wanna go to Tryst Friday but i wanna dance!! I like electro dance house music, top 40 and of course hip hop but no trance and dubstep
