Going to Vegas Aug 17-22, need advice

Hi all,

Me and several male friends are going to Vegas on Aug 17-22. We would really like to go to Marquee on Friday night, but since we're all males, should we get a cabana? Or will the presale tickets work? It said on the website: Even guy/girl ratio required or subject to door discretion. even for tickets. Are there lines for ticket holders?

If we get a cabana, how many bottles do we need to buy?


The other thing we really want to check out is a pool party on Saturday. I actually prefer not going to the most crowded one. Just any day club with music and people would be great. Any suggestions? Are there any ones that don't require ratios, and don't have long lines?

Have you checked out the AOD end of summer event? Marquee is on for friday and you could always pool resources~

Looks good but we have planned some things already, probably can't make it to the AOD event.

Thanks man. I just wish the club could be a little more clear on that. Oh well if we can't all get in, maybe I'll just upgrade to the cabana on the spot? Hopefully they'll discount what we already paid.

Any ideas on the day clubs? We won't stay for very long or drink much, so just any pool with music and atleast some people, would be awesome. Definitely do not want it to be too crowded.

The AOD is taking place at Marquee Friday. If you're already planning on going, you might want to look into the Facebook group and the guest list/table service spreadsheet they're making. It might be helpful to you if you want to get in without a hassle. =]

Also I'm thinking about booking a cabana at TAO beach during Saturday. Would that be a worthwhile venture? And how long do I get the cabana for?

I went to Marquee this past saturday and did presale for ATB based on the advice from JC. Was easily the best use of cash during that Vegas trip since getting into the club went very smoothly. Arrived around 10:45, picked up our tickets, and hardly waited in line.

If you're looking for a place that's not packed, Tao Beach is the exact opposite of what you're looking for. It's a cool venue, but it's pretty small and always jammed packed.

Depending on where you're staying, check out the other pool parties around - - Aria has Liquid, which is nice because you get the party atmosphere but it's not so insanely crowded. You could also look at the Boulevard Pool at Cosmo, Venus @ Ceasars, or Mandalay Bay Beach

The presale tickets ensures entry in a shorter line. Its recommended that you show up early though. Of course the later you come, the longer you will probably end up waiting.

Cabana prices are quoted by food & beverage minimum. If you get a quote for lets say 2K. That means you will need to spend that amount in bottles, shots, drinks etc.

On Saturday we are going to get things setup at the Marquee Dayclub. We were just there on Sat it was fun and not too crowded. Wet is considered the best pool party on Sat, but it does get very crowded.

The point is so we can all pool together our resources and do reservations and of course have some crazy meet up pre and post parties.
