  • 1st time in Vegas Aug. 4-9

Hello everyone...im new here, but ive been lurking alittle bit to get kind of a heads up of what to expect in vegas and whatnot. My brother (27), our buddy (25), and myself (21), all males, are going to vegas on the 4th of august. As you probably imagine, we are all super excited. We dont have really any plan, but we know we want to hit at least 1 club, gamble, some strip clubs, and some bars. Its my brothers birthday on the 8th, so we are hoping to do some celebrating. Any suggestions? We are kinda lost as there are so many different options. We are staying at the Mirage (hopefully a good choice)

    thanks!

I like bottle service at Palms for your group specifically because with your bottle you'll get access to all 4 of our nightclubs on the weekend. So you can have your club night and hit 4 clubs in one night without leaving the hotel.

That's what cabs are for lol? From the mirage it will be only 10-12 for a cab to the palms

I got back tuesday from my first trip in Vegas. It was awesome. Just follow the advice you find on this site, it helps a lot. Bottle service is the way to do it if you have the money to blow. Otherwise you'd better pre-game or get all the free drinks you can in the casino.
We only went to one strip club and it was a monday night. But we went to Olympic Garden and it was awesome to my experience. We arrived around 11:15 and it was kinda slow. I guess 20 minutes had passed and before I knew it the place had really picked up. Just go by the advice on the boards and decide where youguys wanna go.
But here's a good tip: ignore cab drivers' opinions. They will likely try to con you into a place where they get kickbacks.
Also beware of all the street vendors/people handing out "vip" passes, when in doubt refer to JC.com or just contact a preferred host.
check with your hotel's concierge for deals on dinner and shows, we were able to get for next to nothing!

What about those "VIP" passes from Vegasview? They're like 22.50 or something. Do they work?

Going through a host at whatever club you're looking at is always a better option.

If you look on that site you'll see that the all access passes on the weekend are $66. The VIP all access wristbands are $60 when you get them at the Palms.

The cheaper ones are for nights when Rain and Moon aren't open.
