Just stumbled upon a new app for the iPhone (and now available on Droid as well) for HotelTonight.

They setup Last-Minute Deals for Hotels and offer deep discounted rates for three hotels that day (typically a "Hip" selection, an "Elegant" selection, and a "Basic" selection). The service is available in 18 different cities currently, Vegas being one of them, and are expanding quickly.

It's a legit service and looks like it works well - you can make a reservation in 8 seconds! - might come in handy in a pinch if you need an overflow room somewhere on the strip.
