  • Will an unattractive woman in our group be a problem?

My wife and I will be coming to Las Vegas with two other couples. We are in our mid-30's as are one of the other couples. The other couple is in their mid-50's, with the wife being about kind of frumpy, 40 pounds overweight, and definitely looking her age. They are young minded people, though, and they want to go clubbing and to the pool parties just as much as we do. A buddy told me this could be a real problem and an embarrassing situation. He said that a lot of the clubs will just keep passing them by and will never let them in just because she doesn't have the look that they want in their club or pool party. Is this actually true? Is Vegas really that pretentious that they wouldn't let the one couple in?

Bottle service will definitely help. I don't think any club will outright deny your young-minded older friends from going into the pool party/club, but I could see them not getting attended to as quickly as a younger more fit couple. I've seen it happen in Las Vegas at nightclubs.

However, I have seen older couples (seemed to be in their 60s) sharing a bottle of champagne with strawberries at XS.

It would be interesting to get feedback from the hosts on this forum.

Bottle service is a possibility at least some of the time, but we probably don't want to spend the money to get bottle service every single time we go to a club. Will greasing help?

I really dont think its going to be a problem. I was recently in Vegas for a bechelorette party and the Mother of the Groom came with us everywhere we went (she's actually really crazy and brought more fun to the crowd than weirdness) and she didnt have any issues getting in.

I also think people in that age group will get more respect too. It will be like not letting your mom in. Plus they will figure that they had more money to spend in the club too.

You guys should be fine if you get VIP services. This way you get your own private party area, and nobody is going to question why you are there. Its more of a concern when people think you are hitting on them.

LOL I've seen a mix of crowds in Vegas, but go to a lower tier club and you should be ok. If you go to a real happening spot or a pool party/dayclub, get bottles or get a VIP host to escort you in.
