  • Need last minute help w/ Aria

    As the title says -

I head to the Aria in under a week with a corner suite booked for 4 nights = $1200 for my stay (tax/resort fee included)

I read about this Legionnaires outbreak and it has me a bit worried. Not sure whether to think they will have the cleanest water/conditions in town or if I'm taking an unnecessary risk by staying there...

I can switch to the Terrace Suite at the Cosmo for $1600 (tax included) figure an extra $100 a night

About me- its my first time to Vegas, going with 2 girls and my boy, were all 22/23. We all live in Miami so were no stranger to the club scene.

So I ask you - whats the correct move to be made here?

Correct move to be made is the Terrace Suite at Cosmo. I just stayed there last week and my view was incredible. I had a room in the 45th floor and it was amazing. Also, there's no resort fee, and free wifi. So, it's just $300 more, not $200 more. I actually booked a 1 bedroom and tipped a $50 for the Terrace Suite so I'm sure you can try that too. Might end up being cheaper than Aria. However, I'm not sure if there's 2 beds in Terrace Suites so that might be a factor. Only 1 couch was big enough to be slept on unless you have a midget with you.

Cosmo if you can afford it. I think it's generally the overall better resort albeit a bit more expensive. Nice club, restaurants, heard nothing but good things.

I have to make a decision by tomorrow so I don't lose my deposit - The rooms at the Aria seem to look nicer & the Cosmo looks like a hotel owned by Marriott

Could someone briefly describe the atmosphere at the Aria?

I am staying at aria and I am sure it will be ok. I guarantee they have the problem fix. They don't want all those lawsuits plus the health dept would of shut them down.

This is my first time staying at Aria but what I have seen going in there I have like. It's modern cool place right next door to the Cosmo. I would probaly save the money for other things and stay there.

The Nevada Dept. of Health gave them a stamp of approval last week to keep operating. The issue has been resolved and will be tested daily for the next two weeks to ensure that there are no further traces.

You'll be fine, and if anything goes wrong you'll be reimbursed and then some.
