Ok, so I know this section of the forum usually covers just the party scene, but this question didn't seem appropriate for any of the other sections either.
Usually, when I go to Vegas, my trip is based on gambling and clubbing. But, the first time we went out there, we took two days in the middle of our trip to go to Laughlin, NV and rented a boat each day to explore Lake Mead. It was a phenomenal break from the hustle and bustle of the strip. Unfortunately, this time, we won't have time to drive all the way out there. I'd still like to find a way to rent a boat for the day. I've noticed that portions of Lake Mead are only 30-ish mins from Vegas.
Does anyone know a good website or contact for daily boat rentals and information about the portion of Lake Mead closest to Vegas? I think we paid $400 for a day to rent a pontoon boat and explore the random coves and beaches near Laughlin. If nothing else, it would be a good way to sweat off some of the previous night's alcohol.
Thanks in advance.
