Hotel Promo Codes

Do hotels care what promo codes you use for room reservations? I found one on mycheapvegas that gives a great rate for MGM, but it's the "Airline Employee Special". I'm not an airline employee and was curious if the hotel would require ID (nothing listed in the fine print besides "nontranferable") or if there would be any issues at check-in.

I read the terms of services and it doesn't say anything about having to be an airline employee at all. What I would do is give them a quick call before reserving just in case, but in situations like this, where it's not in the terms, I imagine it'd be fine. I remember seeing a "local" deal one where in the terms, it says you need to show your nevada id or something like that.

If you're worried, have you tried the MGMGOLF1 promo code? That one gives pretty good rates too and a bunch of extra stuff if you're into it.

Well, maybe some unscrupulous people go out of their way to make up discounts on some deal sites... maybe, I don't know cause I've never seen it.

Lasventions.com usually has a nice compilation of available, on going hotel deals; however, it won't have the real deep discount deals like you saw on the Caeser's properities a couple weeks ago - most of those are given to top gamblers or are passed by people working at those properties to friends/family. Usually they have some sort of verification requirement, but you sometimes they're open or sometimes the hotel properties make mistakes.
