Im going in less than 2 weeks now! I started contacting hosts about a month maybe a little sooner, just to see which ones were responding quickly and seemed dependable. Also, to get a basic idea of what my options and prices were as I have never been before. I just made everything final as of yesterday, so about 2 weeks out is what I did.

          get an idea

of what you want to do id say 2 weeks out but remember until its officially "locked in" its always subject to change. So try to get it locked in asap if you know that is for sure what you want to do. For example if your promised a 2k main table at a club and 3 days out its announced Drake will be performing that 2k table is now a 4k table lol

Yup... unfortunately, this is a supply and demand business.. when demand goes up, so do minimums...

I take reservations up to 2 months in advance for non holiday weekends... if its anything over 2 weeks, you want to hit your host up the week before to just check on everything. If we book big talent i always check my calendar to make sure i get in touch with the clients that booked early with me and let them know things have changed.

I book day of or sometimes day before and never have issues. We don't end up doing 75% of we initially talked about doing so this helps avoid canceling or a no show. Were always easily persuade by women or a host with a good deal.
