9:25 am... Walk up to a younger male front desk clerk with a warm "What's up man"... Tell him I have a reservation for my birthday weekend (true statement)... Hand over a perfect $20 Sandwhich (iD, Floded 20 & CC) which he realizes right away... He says he can get me a room now or If I wait a few hours he can "set me up nice"... I thank him and tell him I'll wait for it... That easy.... FYI I booked the cheapest room... I'll report back when I see the result...

Man we totally missed out. We tried to check in a few hours later than you and we had the same person. The room was not under my name, so I was hiding out. I was later called to the desk unbeknownst to me, to put the incidentals on my card as all they had was debit card (Really its 2011). I asked about upgrades and he gave me the where's your tip money look while telling us what the rooms usually ran for. I was like Dang...I know we could have had an upgrade, but my friend caught me off guard with that one.

I'd still use the sandwhich at PH Towers... Any view upgrade will be worth the tip

I think with PH towers, you'd probably get upgraded to 1 bedroom from what I've been reading.
