Trip has been planned for early December. Initial thought was to just stick to the clubs at the Palms (where we are staying). The trip is Thursday through Sunday so nights out would just be the three. Any downside to doing this? Any upside to this? At least one night we will be getting table service as well, just not sure if it is only one night or not. Group right now is 3 guys with a possibility of final total being 4 guys and 3 girls.

One other consideration is that the Saturday night is going to be a UFC fight most likely at the Palms.

deffinetly try to venture to venues outside your hotel. Rain is a pretty good club at Palms from what I hear so if you really wanted you could do that friday or saturday would be best im guessing. They sell bracelets that allow you access for all 3 I think. If you dont go to one of the palms clubs this is most likely what I would do.

    Thursday Tao
    Friday XS/Marquee
    Sat XS/Marquee
    Sunday Bank/Lavo/vanity.

Been to Vegas in early December and it is dead that time of the year except when the rodeo is in town and all you see is cowboy hats. Stick to the major clubs and Rain on a weekend night.

I forgot to mention some things. We've been two other times before. The last time was even later in December (work conference) and it was dead to the world with the exception of Tao (couldn't get in there).

We have been to Pure on each trip, neither time impressing us much. We have been to Tryst which did impress us and is a possibility of going back. Vanity on this last trip was crazy, but it seemed like too many people were into themselves (great club name) which took away from it.

We don't mind dance clubs, but definitely want to be able to actually talk to people versus just non-stop dance dance dance.

Oh and as I said, it's first weekend in December and there's an unannounced (as of yet) UFC fight in Vegas that Saturday.

I say venture out. Palms clubs are great but ghostbar and playboy aren't places you want to spend all night in and can totally experience playboy/moon/ghostbar all in one night. Vegas has a lot of new spots that are worth checking out

I went to Vegas about 4 years Ago on the first weekend of December. I went to Pure when that was the hot club at the time. That weekend is when the national rodeo finals are in town. All I see was a bunch of people wearing cowboy hats and belt buckles and cowboy boots dancing to Young Jezzy and I said WTF.

the palm is definitley worth spending one night at. we got a table, and that allowed us to bounce around all the venues with ease.

moon if you're into hip-hop/top40 and rain if you enjoy house/trance
