Can't shake the itch

Hello JC Crew,

I've been lurking in the shadows for a few weeks now, and I finally got the coconuts to formally join the JC (and maybe AOD someday). There have been too many evenings where I end up spitting a cold beverage all over my keyboard because of something I've read on someone's trip report.

I've been to Vegas once (April 2010) and got completely crushed by the fury of "the beast". I went to Vegas cocky, considering I went to College, I lived on Campus, I can drink with the best of 'em.... Vegas taught me otherwise.

Little about me: typical Canadian... I like my beer strong, learned to hate Tequila, love hockey, married, child on the way, and can't disclose much about work.

Planning trip #2 to Vegas this Sept/Oct and hope to see some crazy JC Crew there...

I think we all go into our first Vegas trip with a chip on our shoulders...then she opens up wide, sucks you in, chews you the fuck up and spits you out on that last day.

Some things I'll forget in life, alcohol induced or not, but my 1st Vegas trip...never.

Classic! I don't think I've ever heard Vegas described so eliquently. I'm really hoping I don't make the same mistakes this trip (ie. strolling the strip, getting loser drunk and doing a faceplant onto the TI Casino floor).

Hope to see some of you crazy AODers this Sept 21-24.
