(7/23) Gallery vs Vanity... or Bank?

Which would be best for bottles on Saturday night?
*Mostly based on higher % of women & younger crowd.


Been reading a lot of positive feedback about Vanity & Gallery, so I need help choosing. Thanks!

Went to Lavo last August on a Thursday night. It was a smaller club, but it seemed to be more of a hip/hop crowd, so we left. Don't know much about Vanity though. I went to Body English a few years back, and it wasn't really too great. No dress code, and way too many "Jersey Shore" types. Could have been off nights... but any & all advice helps. Thanks again!

*I guess I sound really critical. I've had great times at XS, Tryst, JET, Light, Ghost Bar (back in the day), Pure, Tao. A lot of factors I guess, but it's tough keeping up with venues visiting every 3-4 years.

I had a decent time at The Bank on Saturday and Sunday night, even though our table location wasn't great on Sunday due to our min. The dance floor is a bit of a shit show, as the club is set up like a roman colosseum. (The people on the dancefloor are the gladiators) The second tier has a cool vibe but we found the bouncers to be a bit heavy handed while mingling with a table of girls that had invited us over to chat. IMHO bottle prices were a tad high for the caliber of club but the dj tallent is high. (Congorock on Sunday night) James Scott made our entry and table reservations a breeze. I would highly suggest nabbing his number off of the host list and shooting him a txt if he's still there.

I did bottle service there back when it was still 'Light'. We had a small corner table towards the back. What made it was that it was "Golddigger Night", so the place was packed with girls (lots of dancers, and some pro's), and everyone with tables got fake money. They were giving away big prizes for the girls with the most fake money.... Needless to say, we were fighting them off in drones (well, not the good ones).

One of my friends was drunk and threw a stack of fake money into a crowd of girls.... STRIPPER FIGHT in the "Coliseum"!

Pretty epic night.

Mid 20's mostly. But from what I hear, they had a couple of bus loads of girls from San Diego State. 0_o

Gallery is a really low energy club, with a generic atmosphere. Would not suggest that spot at all....Vanity on the other hand is a good time, but the crowd tends to skew a bit older since its off the strip....Plenty of females, tho.

shouldn't the hard rock cancel out being off the strip? only been once but the time I went there was hella young folks. like 21, 22 still in college. this college chick sucked my boy off in the parking structure of hard rock after like 10 mins on the dance floor

Aw, mos def. Hard Rock is definitely a big draw. But people tend to go for the path of least resistance, and if there are crackin clubs right on the strip, many opt to do that rather than venture out to Vanity....You know how high maintenance types are. Vanity tends to have a crowd just a few years older than others, but there are still plenty of youngins (im 26, btw.)

Myself, I've stayed at the Hard Rock a gang of times...I love just hitting the elevator and you're right there at the club. Plus, Rehab....u set! Vanity, has been good to a brotha, for real. Not surprised at your boy...see thats what Im talking about. Certain clubs have more of a get loose environment than others. Vanity is definitely one of them...But they dont have a lot of BAD females. I guess its a trade off.

Vanity is straight, but I've worn that spot out. I know every nook n cranny up in there, lol. Looking for new land to conquer...

It's Saturday night though, wouldn't it get packed? It's a bachelor party, so with 8 guys, the only important thing would be a club with a lot of girls.


Should I look into seeing if we could cancel? Anywhere else other than (Tryst, XS, Marquee, Haze, Tao) we'd be better off on Sat night?

Maybe try looking into moon? I've always had a good time there. No marquee or XS but if that's not what you're looking to get into

Another option would be Perfecto at Rain if you are into house music. I would only do Gallery on a Wednesday since there are so many other wonderful options in town. Its a great club don't get me wrong! But I go by DJ line ups, events at a venue.

Well, we're staying at Encore, going to XS on Sunday, and EBC Sunday afternoon, so trying to avoid spending all weekend in one spot. Would love to do Marquee... but BS is too high, and we'd have more fun at a tier 1/2 place w/ BS than tier 0 (Marquee without).

Another option would be Perfecto at Rain if you are into house music. I would only do Gallery on a Wednesday since there are so many other wonderful options in town. Its a great club don't get me wrong! But I go by DJ line ups, events at a venue.

Hah, thanks. I was kinda worried about that... just not sure if a headliner DJ would help or hurt the situation.

Getting down to the wire... probably just do Vanity at this point. Unless anyone has any better suggestions for Saturday night?
