PH Towers

Headed out to Vegas in September and found a good deal at PH Towers. The reviews seem good and the pictures of the rooms look great. Couple questions:

I'm bringing a first time visitor to Vegas who of course will want to see all the hotels, etc on the Strip. Is this going to be an inconvenience to do from PH Towers.

How far is the walk from PH Towers to the casino in PH?

Walked through the Mile Shops over the 4th weekend and saw the entrance to PH West Gate Towers.....a good 10 min walk to the casino at PH. Can not offer opinion of PH Towers....My Trip---tables could have been more friendly, but had a great time....Looking at return trip in Sept. also

I haven't stayed at PH towers yet, but I will be staying there for a weekend this August. I almost always frequent the miracle mile shops on my trips though and have seen the entrance to PH towers before. In my opinion, it wasn't an overly long walk to the casino or the strip. If you've been to vegas before, you know the walks are long no matter where you're going. The walk from my room in the Palazzo to the Tao pools at the Venetian was a pretty long walk. Similar with the stroll from Aria to the actual strip, so I don't think you're doing bad buying staying at PH towers. And I've heard great things about their suites and views. Hope you enjoy it!

My stay at the PH towers was amazing. The walk wasn't much of an issue. The guys are right. Anytime you're walking in vagas, it's going to be a pretty long walk. You'll find yourself taking cab rides regardless of where you stay on the strip. All of the rooms are non smoking, so you will have to trek down outside to have a smoke. The rooms are pretty amazing, but room service and housekeeping are pretty much non existent. I would stay there again, in a heartbeat!

not necessarily, last trip I stayed at Palazzo and only took 3 cabs - one from the airport and two to/from Cosmo (that cab line is awful at 3AM BTW)

Location definitely matters. For example TheHOTEL is really nice but I won't stay there unless I get a pretty good rate b/c the cab rides add up after a few days

Stayed in a studio in June, the room was great for the rate, the walk gets a little old but not terrible. The service isn't what you'll get at 5 star establishments, such as room service, I think at 4 or 5 am I let the phone ring for a minute or two trying to order before I just said fuck it. On the second night having learned my lesson I just hit up Earl of Sandwich on the way, I'm sure their sandwich blew away what room service would bring. My room was cleaned everyday though. So if you get in on a good deal it cant be beat.

Lazy enough to cab from palazzo to wynncore? to TI?

We did tao, xs, marquee, and tao beach. gambled at TI and WynnCore. Ate at grand lux, venetian food court, fashion show mall food court, and this place in the canal shoppes. Just no reason to take cabs except to cosmo.

PH Towers has really nice rooms especially if you get their 1 or 2 bdrm over the studio. Jacuzzi tub right next to the bed and a motorized projection screen doubles as curtains in the living room.

The walk to PH isn't so bad. 5-10 minutes max.

I stayed at PH towers last week with a group of buddies. Great place to call home base. The walk through the miracle mile wasn't too bad, always had a drink or two in hand to make it better. lots of places to grab a bite too, earl of sandwich, or planet dailies in planet hollywood casino for breakfast. We took limos everywhere so not too much walking, although we did walk over to cosmo across street couple times. I would go back, good room/location for price.

I think its a great property and definitely try it out. The $20 trick works well here too and location isn't bad at all.

Last trip, went to Earl's of Sandwich 4 times, lol. I think 3 times was 5-6am.

whos done the upgrade on a 2bedroom suite? we have one booked but would love to thru a few $100's at check in and hope for the 3/4 bedroom penthouse...
