Best night for clubs at the palms?

Hey guys,

Heading out on the 16th of july till the 22nd. We bought online a barhoping bracelet for all the clubs at the palms.

I was wondering on what night should we go there without sacrifing a great night at another vegas club? Is it just me or nobody really talks about those clubs much?

We are a group of 4 guys in our low 20s and we mostly listen to house music. So whats the busiest night that we should on?
Also wich of the palms bar hosts the youngest crowd moon or rain?

Just got turned onto the whole wristband thing, and now I'm considering checking out Moon/Rain. Just don't hear much about them around here... not sure why.

the reason they are not discussed that much is many of the most active members here are proponents of BS, and at the prices they are paying only 2 or 3 clubs are in play.

all the palms clubs are a great time, imho ghostbar and playboy club skew older, rain and moon a little younger.

can't really go wrong with their wristbands.

Younger is good. How would you compare Moon/Rain to places like LAX, Pure, Tao?

We hit up rain last year and had a great time, arguably one of our best nights (a group of young 20s). We'll be looking to get the wristband when we go in august so would be nice to hear how you get on. So have you pre bought the band? Is this cheaper than getting it over in Vegas and where from?

I've been to the palms clubs with the all access drinking pass many times... Friday & Saturday nights are best... I actually would like to hear some insite on which night is better... I've been more on Friday than Saturday... I tend to do the Bands on Friday and save saturday night for the Tier I Clubs... I've always worked it like this... I start at Ghostbar early like 9:30... Then I make my way to playboy club... After an hour or so I ride up one floor to Moon... Moon has never really let me down... Another cool part of the palms is you keep seeing people you've met from earlier in the night... By the end if the night everybody seems to make their way to Rain before spilling onto the Casino floor... I'd rate the palms clubs like this... Ghostbar is a great pregame lounge (no dancing... yeah)... The View is amazing... If there is a large group or 2 of the opposite sex get ready for a great night... Playboy club is exactly what you want a club in Vegas to make you feel like... I can't describe it other than saying that they did it right... They have bunnies dealing with good music and again the View is great... Nothing better than sitting at a table next to a celebrity overlooking all of Vegas... I've been there and I'll just say it's a great feeling... after an hour you will feel like a member of the rat pack or something... Moon isn't the biggest club but they play good music and get a decent crowd... It's not XS or a Friday or TAO on a Thursday... What is... but it is still a Vegas Weekend Crowd which is always a good crowd... Rain is hit or miss... I always end up making my way down to rain at 2ish... The issue is that it is so big that if it isn't packed it tends to look empty even with a thousand or so people... If Rain looks Empty just go back to Moon and you'll be fine... As far as age, I don't think it's super young or old... Maybe an average of 27 insted of 30... Not a huge deal either way...

The thing is its that im arriving on a saturday and would prefer to go at a tier 1 club like Xs or Marquee on that night..

Wich weekday do you think would be the best overall for the palms club?

Tuesday is industry night at Moon. Other than that I would stick to Palms only on Friday or Saturday. Preferably Saturday where they usually get a decent House DJ. You could always check their website though to see a list of whose there.

I read DJ Jazzy Jeff makes appearances. Any good or surviving off the "fresh prince" gig?

moon is kinda like LAX but imo LAX cracks more on Wednesday nights, if hip hop is what you're into of course. I didn't care for the floor plan of Moon either but whatever. The view is awesome so I would recommend it just for that if you're a first timer of sorts.

Tought i'd post back a review from our night a Moon.

We went on a tuesday and the club was packed, music was good but I didn't care for the floorplan me neither.. Crowd was generaly goodlooking with an alright ratio girls vs boys. I think it's worth checkin out if it's your first trip in vegas for the view but other then that i'd stick to the bigger clubs.

I read DJ Jazzy Jeff makes appearances. Any good or surviving off the "fresh prince" gig?

I actually love Jazzy Jeff's DJ set. He spins all of the contemporary top 40/hip hop and mixes in some old school stuff. Fact of the matter is he's been in the game so long that he is just a solid DJ- his set has great energy and pace to it and he knows his crowd.

I would definitely recommend checking it out when he is in town.
