Poetry in Ceasar's

Is Poetry still open and if so does anyone have any thoughts on it either way?

no unfortunately its close and prob wont ever open back up....i knew a guy that worked there and he said he doubts it too....i had some fun times there but according to locals it got pretty hood (fights, pimps, and of course h0e$)

haha I remember the Poetry, I was actually scared to ever go there when I heard the radio advertisements. I stuck to the crappy service at Body English instead back in those days.

I used to go there when it was OPM and loved the sunday party there.

haha OPM was terrible (never went on a Sunday though). I heard major stuff went down there (maybe a shooting? I have no idea) and that's why the name got changed to Poetry. This is all rumor though and a quick google search didn't giveme the answer :shrugs:

lol no kidding? He saw some talent! I heard this ad with Funk Master Flex, like back in the days when he would just yell on like every track he DJ'd. He was yelling over this commercial that Xzibit was promoting for poetry. I was like no thanks!
