DJ Feed Me...

Just noticed DJ Feed Me is playing Surrender in Vegas on the 10th August. He's part of Mau5trap - Deadmau5's label and some of his tunes on YouTube look promising.

However as a long time despiser of Dubstep, does anyone know how much he plays? I've read he does mashups and techno with a bit of dubstep/dnb thrown in.

I believe he played during EDC, did anyone see him play?

Well I have seen Feed Me a total of 2 times now. Both in the festival scene and not in a small club style venue. He produces about 50/50 Electro/Dubstep. His live shows that I have seen are about 60/40 Electro/Dubstep. He does not play any UK grimey dubstep. He plays more of a Skrillex (all over the place) style dubstep. You can occasionally catch him dropping a few banger tracks like (Pendulum - The Island) or (Steve Angello - Knas). If you like his debut album then you will for sure love his live set. I hope I answered your question but, I would recommend looking up his live shows on youtube if your still wary of what you might hear when you go see him.

Feed Me is awesome I been listening to him since he's been on the mau5 label and i had a chance to seen him live last month. He plays Dubstep/Electro House and he played some progressive house too. And yes he's dubstep pretty close to Skrillex's sound. He released an EP recently ''To The Stars'' , and there are some sick bangers on there. And he pumps his crowd up, interacts with his crowd, I had a blast that night!!

Well if that song is anything to go by, we'll hate it. That is dubstep at it's worst...slow paced, lazy techno.

I'll check out a few more of his sets if I can find them. Maybe in a club setting he'd play a more upbeat techno set?

I have table service booked at Surrender but that style of music would really kill the vibe.

Does anyone know if he's re-confirmed for Surrender this Wednesday?

Mikey T got in touch to let me know he'd cancelled his set but once I noticed that he's back on Surrender's upcoming events list (as of yesterday - I've been checking every day!) I haven't been able to get hold of Mikey to confirm!
