Usually those threads get started about 3-4 weeks out, which is about the time when most hosts have a general idea of the pricing.

I was quoted $575 per bottle at Tryst and XS, but XS calls for min. of 2 bottles on Saturday regardless the size of your party. $1,000-$1,500 for a daybed at EBC, all subject to change of course.

            Is this specifically for LDW?

Being a host i would advise most to first get a group budget. Set what you want to minimum spend and set what is the most you would spend. Then start contacting your hosts and just get a feel for what events and prices will look like. What i normally tell my clients is on holiday weekends if its normally a 2 bottle table plan on it being a 4 bottle table. if its a 2k table plan on it being a 3k table and so on. If you contact your host give him how many people in your party and a budget that your working with you should normally get quick answers back. Of course not everything/everyone is booked for LDW so its always subject to change and is more of a "request" But as soon as its set in stone the talent and prices dont hesitate to get it locked in

Yes, I specifically requested for LDW pricing (I was told to add $100 to normal bottle prices since it's a holiday weekend), but subject to change.

                      JJ..

I think they mean adding 100$ if bottles normally start at 450 there now 550$ etc. Some clubs change there bottle pricing some dont. The big change is going to be the minimums of the tables will change. So normally to get in the inside of XS if its a 2000 minimum its now a 3000 minimum and so on. Not saying thats the pricing of xs but just giving an idea. LDW is a great way to still get a great table at a good price with "handshakes". Holiday weekends thats what alot of clubs look at.

Yes, that's what I meant, add an additional $100 to the current prices ($475 bottle will be $575 come LDW). I was told XS calls for a two bottle min. on Saturdays, but wasn't told a certain $$ amount but your theory of a minimum spending amount sounds more likely.

I was quoted $1,000 - $1,500 for a daybed at EBC for that Sunday (Sept 04). Again, all subject to change.

                          Ldw

just make sure you ask your host if bottle prices are the same or if they have gone up. If its definately a party you want to attend dont be afraid to do a CC auth. for it. Although they cant guarantee table location unless its agreed upon it will atleast guarantee you a table/daybed if they sell out
