+1, get colors outside of the typical ones (black, dark blue, white) and you can stand out w/o putting a lot of money or effort inOriginally posted by otapnam View Postjust drop by EXPRESS and buy some shirts. if aero is where u usually go, theres prob an express @ your mall and should still fall into your price range2016 (past) - none

Or if you know the sellers, buy off of eBay or in consignment shops for deals on higher end clothing. If you know what you're buying, you can build a nice wardrobe for an affordable price (might just need a trusty tailor for corrections).Originally posted by bob1234 View PostExpress prob best low end dress shirt.
My advice would be to find a tailor before you pay Zegna prices.
Problem I have with some pseudo high end labels like Hugo Boss, John Varvatos, etc is that many of them produce their clothing out the same places in China as aeropostle, Gap, and other basic mall clothing finds. So many time you are just paying for the name (next time you shop, just take a feel of the clothing... It's barely noticeable in difference from that $15 shirt and the $115 one).

This is very true about paying high prices for the same clothes. My bro traveled to Thailand while he was deployed a few years back. He mailed us back some 'Red Monkey Jeans' and some other stuff which was popular at the time. Then he gets back to the states to find what he was paying 2 for $20 was going for $150-200 at Macy's. Also, Ed Hardy jeans, which were just growing popular at the time, were using the same jeans as Red Money. This was clearly identifiable by the stitching, material and patch work.Originally posted by blibblab View PostOr if you know the sellers, buy off of eBay or in consignment shops for deals on higher end clothing. I never pay full price for any of my stuff. Because there's always someone who will have the exact same or.similar product for cheap.I still remain "the best kept secret"

Tailored clothes are always the best option, but for the kind of material that goes well with LV temps you'd be hard pressed to find a tailor that bets Zegna rack prices.Originally posted by bob1234 View PostExpress prob best low end dress shirt.

cm4short's short-sleeve outfit looks fine. With those slacks (I think?) you'll be better dressed than a vast majority of the entire continent's nightclub goers. I personally wouldn't wear a tie with a short-sleeve but that's just personal preference.

Very ironic.Originally posted by SelfMade View PostI'm hoping this is irony...Originally posted by Mr Blond View Post1. Affliction... Ed Hardy... anything with lots of writing all over it is always cool.
-Preferably the newer style V-necks cause chicks dig man-cleavage.
2. SUNGLASSES!!! (only at night in dark clubs) The bigger & brighter color the better. Shit, wear more than one pair and really show people whats up.
Living here in NY I see all that shit, so it's kinda an ongoing joke. It's weird sometimes... being surrounded by "Jersey Shore" type douches on one side, then polar opposite frail hipsters on the other side. It's quite the mix.

I'm the one on the left wearing the white jeans. I did have white slacks (Express Photographer, *best slacks ever). They unfortunately were oil stained and I've been unable to find a suitable replacement. The tie thing is a new trend which I've seen catching. Not exactly my style, but it worked well for my bro that night tho. I seemed to double as a leash as we was repeatedly led to the dance floor.Originally posted by SelfMade View PostTailored clothes are always the best option, but for the kind of material that goes well with LV temps you'd be hard pressed to find a tailor that bets Zegna rack prices.Originally posted by bob1234 View PostExpress prob best low end dress shirt.
