Operation Bromance Las Vegas EDC weekend 2011 Part 1
Fellow JC heroes and scholars, the inspiration of this trip report is an attempt to rekindle the epic Vegas tour of 2011.
We risked life and limb to provide you with this research piece including levels of binge drinking Charlie Sheen would be proud of, sleep deprivation with an amount of epic sexual gratification which was almost certainly been enjoyed by us lads!
However I digress, as currently I am on an 11 hour flight back to London in which I just made a manic dash to he bathroom to be sick out of my bottom. The effects of Vegas have left me shaking like a shitting dog but it's worth it !
Due to our squad being reduced to two guys after a number of omissions we decided to continue with true English gusto, grit and stupidity.
Day One Thursday 23rd June
Arrived in Vegas, met our friendly limo driver and checked into our wraparound suite in the Cosmopolitan, which is undoubtably one of the finest hotels we have (dis)graced
The 20 dollar sandwich worked a charm and we secured a view of both the Bellagio fountain and the strip. Naturally this made us happier than a dog with two dicks
Thursday nights festivities involved pre-gaming with our trusted friend Mr Goose. We arrived at Tao at approximately 11pm to wade through a sea hot girls to meet our host Jordan Mazuryk who informed our minimum had been increased as ATBs appearance had resulted in higher minimums to be in the main room.
We saw this as a opportunity to get two bottles of Dom Perignon and a bottle of Grey Goose so we could transform from intelligent charming English gentlemen to loud, confident lady killers.
Soon our table (no 71) was surrounded by sexy chicks who were more than happy to enjoy our generous hospitality and our party trick the ability to read each others mind. After proving this feat by getting various girls favourite colours/actors/month they were born/ favourite actors and first pets names correct the two (un)lucky girls were selected.
We left Tao about 5am with two sweet girls from Pittsburg, to watch the sun rise from our balcony. Although I was more concerned with something else rising and it wasn't the bloody sun I can tell you!!!
After waking up on the balcony and exchanging pleasantries (along with some bodily fluids that earlier that night) the girls departed to allow us to get our quota of 2hours ish sleep.... Not a bad start to proceedings
Friday 24th June
Started with two beautiful eggs benedict brought up by room service. We than checked out the blvd pool to enjoy the blazing heat, and a spot of another fun Vegas sport...titty watching. Now if that were an olympic sport we might give you Americans a run for your money !
Friday night was Tryst night and Patrick Frank excelled himself twice with the table locations on our trip. We have dealt with Patrick on previous trips and he has always delivered, top
chap !!!
We arrived at Tryst to be taken to an excellent stripper pole
location, where we made friends with some fun girls from Colorado and and two US navy guy who had just returned from service, after sinking two bottles of Goose we returned to the Cosmo about 4.30am to grab a burger and buffalo wings at the Henry and collapse
Saturday 25th June
We had the intention of trying to check out Roger Sanchez at the marquee day-club although having no table reservation meant that unfortunately it proved to be a bridge to far when our host Justin Crews told us we had no chance of getting in as the venue was at capacity.
We have always found Justin to be extremely professional and he was later to redeem himself in spectacular style !
We took the opportunity to check out the strip and the forum shops to get ipads to feed our friends lobster tube addiction, we then checked out the secret pizza place and ordered a whole pizza that was an bigger than Adeles ass.
That evening we went to XS where Thomas Gold and Alesso were spinning, checked in with our man Patrick Frank who secured us with a fantastic table on the back wall facing the dance-floor just as we requested.
Once again the drinks got flowing and we became surrounded by hot girls from Colorado. Now I've been to XS on a Monday before, but Saturday was soo busy it was unreal, wall to wall with stunning girls. Halfway though the night a soccer player from Arsenal made an appearance, being big sports fans we left the girls at the table to try and get photos but unfortunately we were declined by security.
We then hit the dance-floor with the Colorado to confirm that English guys are much better at talking and drinking than dancing !!! When we could see the sun starting to appear over the Wynn building we knew it was time to head back, after declaring our undying love for the Colorado girls it was time to head back to the Cosmo as we had a big day for he Sunday
