  • Friday night advice!

    Hi,

I’ve an upcoming trip to Vegas in October and was wondering if you intelligent people of Jack Colton could hook me up with some table service advice…

    Background:-

5 lads from England, late twenties to early 30’s, 7 days in Vegas! Staying at the Wyndham Grand (free from work)

2 of the group are booked in the Cosmo on Friday and Saturday night so I think we will be going to Marquee prob Saturday day and night.

I am the only one to have had bottle service in Vegas so the others don’t really understand the concept of it but I think I’ve talked them into trying it out, especially as there is a group of lads I don’t want to have any problems getting in places.

We land on a Thursday, but as we are 8 hours behind over here and the 11 hour flight I cant see us getting much further than a bit of a strip crawl.

But on the Friday I am thinking its going to be a good time to get some bottle service. That way if the group have a good time we can get it again later in the week.

So I just need some recommendations for Friday night, my only table service experience was at the Bank on a Saturday night which was really good just the company I was with was a bit ‘stiff’, I was a guest of another party so didn’t pay which was a bonus. Also if you could give me a rough price guide for 3 bottles of Grey Goose including host, waitress, security tips etc that would be great.

No one really has a big budget but I think most of my mates are looking at about $400 a day as a budget but not planning on hitting a club or getting table service all 7 nights.

    All advice welcome!

3 bottles of Goose will cost you about $495 apiece at the high-end places, plus 8.1% sales tax, 20% gratuity, and then the various handshakes to host/busboy/security.

All told, you'd be looking at $1,485 for the alcohol.
    + $121 in tax
    + $322 in automatic gratuity
    + $300 handshake to host
    + $20 handshake to busboy
+ $20 handshake to your security guard
    TOTAL: $2,268

Brett, you’re an absolute gent. Pretty much the total I was thinking of.

Just been looking at some info on XS and Tao and the prices are quite a bit cheaper at Tao. But I’ve heard nothing but good things about the place! Might have to hit both!

Just a little pointer. When you hand off $20 tip to the busboy, you can kindly request that he brings you some unopened water bottles from the tables he is cleaning up. 99% of the time they glady oblige. Not everyone drinks to party at my tables, so water is essential.

The guy that cleans up after you lol. He brings cups, shot glasses, etc... hes there to assist the server. The technical name is "Server Assistant."

If you want a table at XS on friday hit me up. Its a 4 bottle minimum though. I can do 3 bottles at tryst.

At Moon, Rain, Ghostbar and Playboy our bottles of Goose are $475 +20% gratuity to your server. There is no tax on top of that. This includes mixers, some redbulls, fiji and access to all 4 venues.

So you're looking at $1710 total + whatever tips to various people you feel are necessary.

and 3 bottles will give you a great shot at a really good table.

                  Thanks for the reply Phil.

We are all up for going to the palms one night.

As you have 4 bars/clubs do people usually go to one bar early on then naturally migrate to the others?
