First Trip with Large Group - could use input

First post, so here goes nothing....

I've been to Vegas twice now (once a year since I've turned 21)... and due for another trip. It worked out where my fiance' and her good friend ended up getting 2nd and 3rd at the Miss Wisconsin pageant... so now they want to go to Vegas for Miss America and thats all the more excuse I need. We got a group together and are starting to plan it all, here are our details:

*6 for sure (possibly 8 people) (3 girls / 3 guys - all couples)
*Staying for 6/7 nights (only make it once a year, gotta make it count)
*Want to be on the strip (between Encore and NYNY)
*Would like a condo/appt. style place - kitchen/living/2+ bathrooms/etc etc since it is a long stay with a lot of people
*Would like to keep the price @ or under $350 per person for the stay (rather spend the money out and about than on a bed)


Looking around these seem to be my front runner options:
Jockey Club: Cheap - awesome location - access to Cosmo - great view (bellagio side) - a few units have 3+ queen beds + rollaway + pullout couch = pleanty of sleeping space

PH Towers: Miss America is @ PH so thats nice for the girls - more expensive but more swanky - sleeping setup will mean some WILL have to be on pullout couch (lame)

Polo Towers - Cheap - not much info on these places

THe Sig @ MGM - little far away - little pricey - great view - looks really nice



Any other options you guys can think of?! The trip is going to be like January 11th - 17th/18th .... and we're planning so far ahead because Miss America, CES, and I think AEE are all that week so its going to fill up fast.

Spend the extra money... dont stay at polo or jockey

If you're looking for 2+ bathrooms then you're looking at 2+ bedrooms as well. I just checked the MGM signature suites (your best bet from given what you're looking for), for your dates the one bedroom suite is currently at $1,800 for six nights (nothing showing for 2 bedroom, you'd probably have to call them directly), so that's $300 per person already so I don't think you can get it for under $350 a person for the 2 bedroom suite. But sign up for their email list as they frequently send out offers.

Agreed with the above about Polo and Jockey. Stay away.

I had 7 different locations I was looking at:
2 - Jockey Club
1 - PH Towers
1 - The Sig
1 - Polo Towers
1 - MB Suites
1 - Grand Chateau
... as of today there were 2 left. CES / AEE / MAO all fall on the same week this year so I can only imagine the chaos/price hikes that will occur closer to the dates


Anyway, ended up booking at Jockey Club - owner made an offer I could not turn down.... Got a 2 bed room/2 bath condo at the Jockey club with 4 queen beds + pullout couch for 7 days -- Jan 11th - Jan 18th --Fountain View (NOT Cosmo wall) during CES, AEE, and MAO ! The week should get NUTS!

Ended up paying $1000 for room/tax/cleaning/deposit for the entire week, so for the 6 of us, it will only be like $170 per person for the week's stay.

Pretty pumped, last two Vegas trips were fun but this will be my first trip going out of college and with a "real" job so I'll have a little more fun money.... it will be nice to have extra space and really really nice to have a full size refrigerator in the room.

... I'll have to see if I should have taken your advice Truth, but it would have been about a $2000+ to go to PH Towers or The Sig... an extra $333 per person could go a long way.
