Let me preface my TR by saying I'm disappointed at my lack of excitement in my report.. haha. But anyways, here it goes...
So we arrived in Vegas on Monday morning at 10, did our thing (we're cheap and bring a cooler and go grocery shopping for food and alcohol haha), and headed to Caesar's Palace to check in. Well, after hours of fiascos, we FINALLY got to our room at like 6:30 pm. So by this point we were pissed off and exhausted, and decided to just go grab some dinner and go see Holly Madison's Peep Show. Not too bad..wasn't too impressed with her though haha.
Day two we just hung out by the pool, and had plans to hit up Chateau and PURE. We got our favorite dinner at Battista's Hole in the Wall restaurant. Despite not being on the list at Chateau, the bouncer let us in. It was industry night so girls got free champagne, and we hung out. Unfortunately, the bar was pretty much a taco fest (10 girls to each guy), so after pounding a few champagnes, we headed to PURE. Thanks to Chris Trillo at PURE for the guest list! We made our way around and danced with a few hot guys (and were pestered by a few not-hot guys, bummer). We then headed back to the hotel room, where my girl friend and I decided to have a hot tub party while the third one (debbie downer) decided to go to bed.
Day three we pretty much did the same thing (at the request of our third friend -- again), then went to Ellis Island for their delicious steak special. We gambled a bit there, and then went back to the hotel to get ready for Surrender/EBC. We had originally planned on going to Ghostbar, but they had some Peter Pan event going on, so we just stuck with Surrender. Thanks to Nick P. at or the guest list (Mikey T never got back to us the day of-). Lucky for us, again, it was industry night so we received free drinks. We met up with some of the people from the board (UK_Mike & VegasCherry!), which was awesome. Unfortunately, EBC wasn't crazy and my friend was stone sober and wanted us to leave. So we did. Womp womp. Then we had another hot tub party in our room.
Day four, our final night, I planned on going out with a bang. We were pregaming at our room with VegasCherry and pals, and going to TAO later in the night. I LOVE TAO. Thank you to Chris Traer for the guest list spot! We ran into a few other members of the board, and danced our asses off. We ditched the debbie downer friend at some point, then left in the wee hours of the morning.
Though the trip wasn't what I wanted (more craziness, less sleeping, more hot guys, etc.), we still had a good time. I guess I'll have to save my liver for August when I go again -- NOT with debbie downer :-D
