Thunderstorms in Vegas?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. But I saw there were thunderstorms forecasted for the next few days. What are they like in Vegas when the high is in the 100s? Do they last long? Is the rain in the hot weather amazing?

Agreed. One hit early Sunday evening and lasted for a few hours and had a ton of thunder, lightning and rain. Temps stayed warm, but you were soaked walking around for even a few minutes. As long as you aren't driving (flash floods) or flying, it's a fun experience.
