Total first timer question

Hi everyone,
this might be one the dumbest questions and I very likely missed this somewhere else on the site but I was just wondering how soon in advance I should try to contact a host to get on a clubs guest list.

I will be in Vegas in August but I'll be there mid-week so I know it will be less crowded, but I would like to try and ensure the smoothest time possible. I'm not interested in bottle service or anything,(unless of course there are some good midweek rates out there) I just really would like to be able to get in without any hassle.

If it helps at all here's a list of the clubs I'm planning on
Monday-VooDoo and Playboy club
Tuesday-Chateau
Thursday-Blush...possibly Tryst
