Funny story about Leaving Las Vegas. I knew the backstory of the author himself and I'd seen the movie. My girlfriend hadn't.
She asked which movies we should watch to get "pumped up" for Vegas. As a joke, I said definitely Leaving Las Vegas. We watched it, and she just sat there with this sad stare on her face the whole time - it did the opposite of pump her up.
I don't know if it was the wreckless drunken crawling on the ground, or the hooker getting raped and then bleeding our her asshole in the shower that - but something didn't get her fired up the way she wanted.Vegas Trips to-date:
