2 Brit girls, 2 weeks in Vegas, way too many shots!!!

Well now i've read it and i'm dying to know how it ends!

No promises...I barely remember this past weekend let alone 2 years ago :P

Day 9
Bleurgh, there’s nothing like shit loads of bourbon and hardly any sleep to make you feel like death. Had a slight feeling of ‘wtf did I do last night?!’ but no regrets. Catherine kindly went out for bagels and coffee to bring us back to life, then we headed down to the pool so we could at least work on our tans whilst trying to piece the events of the previous night together.

We’d booked tickets for O that night, we got ready and headed to le burger brasserie in paris. Felt alright until we ordered food then we both felt really sick, was worried i wasn’t gonna be able to eat it! After a few bites it was all good, the grease cured us.

Over to Bellagio for O, what can i say it was amazing, but i won’t bore you with the details. I really can’t remember what we did after O so i’m guessing nothing very exciting.....

Day 10 – Xs!!!!

We woke up pretty early seen as we’d been lame the day before and headed over to America in New York New York for breakfast. As we were being walked to our table i saw a woman throw up next to the bar and do the ridiculous thing of trying to catch it, ewww! I was just hoping she was hungover and it wasn’t because the food was bad.

We got the deuce down to the fashion show mall and did a bit of shopping then had a wander round the wynn/encore while we were sober enough to appreciate it. Then we headed to Bill’s to see how big Big Elvis is and take advantage of the $3 corona’s.
Walking back up we got some passes for a free drink in the Chateau beer garden, i wish we’d discovered this place earlier on in the trip because it’s such a great spot for a bit of afternoon drinking. Could have stayed there until the sun went down drinking and chatting, but there was no way we were missing xs that night so we made our way back to the Excalibur and continued drinking there while we were getting ready.

We grabbed some drinks from the casino bar in the wynn then joined the queue for xs, it hadn’t even opened yet and it was growing pretty quickly. We didn’t have to wait long though, and once we were in the club we headed straight outside to check it out, how beautiful is this place?! We just couldn’t get over it, best club of the trip by far.

We got straight on the vodka cranberrys, our new favourite drink, and had a wander round. We soon got talking to people and i lost Catherine for a while. I got talking to a cute guy who bought me a drink even though he was only drinking water because he was feeling rough. Then the guy’s annoying friend appeared..... he kept ripping his shirt open and grabbing my hand and trying to get me to feel his chest, and just butting in conversations but not really having anything to say, wtf? I soon got bored of this so made some excuse and left.

Found Catherine and headed back inside where we met a couple of guys at the bar who claimed to be pilots. One of the previous guys i was talking to was a lawyer and i’m pretty sure Catherine got talking to a doctor at some point, and another pilot, and a bodyguard. Does anyone in Vegas just have an office job? I’m sure some of them were bullshitting, but hey everyone puts on a different persona to some degree in vegas.
Anyway the pilots bought us drinks because we let them go before us at the bar, pays off to be polite sometimes..........not sure how long we were with them, it gets a bit hazy after this point.....

We got talking to some guy who wanted us to meet the bachelor at his table, but he was pretty drunk and confused about where his table was. The place was packed at this point, and as he’s leading us around the tables there were a couple of steps i didn’t see coming, so i slip and end up on my ass and wearing my drink, good thing i was wearing black! I got straight back up and i wasn’t hurt, just soooo embarrassed! Had some impressive bruises the next day.

Turns out we were headed in completely the wrong direction so that situation could have been avoided, but we eventually got to the bachelors table and i got a much needed sit down. I ended up next to the best man who was freaking out about his speech, so i was stuck trying to convince him he’d be fine. The guy sat next to him was trying to get my attention and he was way better looking, i was wishing the best man would get outta the way but it wasn’t happening.

The guy who’d lead us to the table was talking to Catherine, and she didn’t look impressed. He was insisting she would forget her boyfriend and get with him instead. After turning down CM there was no way this was gonna happen, he really wasn’t all that. He wasn’t taking no for an answer so we made our excuses and headed to the bar, but the guy and the best man followed us, take a damn hint!

We must have got rid of them somehow, next thing i remember we were sat outside for a bit and got talking to a couple of guys, one of which was celebrating his 21st birthday (i didn’t believe him and made him show me his driving license) According to Catherine they appeared and sat at either side of us in some kind of military style pincer movement :-D We hung out with them for a while, drinking and dancing, they were so damn cute and charming, but at some point we left them to find some girls closer to their own age....

.....toward the end of the night we met pilot number 3. He claimed he flew private jets, we didn’t believe a word he was saying and he was trying desperately to convince us, showing us photo’s and stuff. His friend was claiming he was a bodyguard but he was shorter than me! These guys were hilarious though, and when we hit the dance floor the pilot was showing off some of possibly the worst dance moves i’ve ever seen We couldn’t dance for laughing at this guy.

No idea what time we left but the crowd was thinning out so i’m guessing pretty late........neither of us can remember getting out of the Wynn and back to Excalibur but we woke up in our own beds so we must have got there somehow!

"Gaps in the memory" thats what the cameras were for

Hmmm can't rely on that to fill in the blanks, most of the pictures we took were when we were sober, after that we were having too much fun to think about getting the camera out! And Catherine deleted a lot of the evidence when she was feeling guilty

You did not think to do the Hangover moment? get all the group together relive the memories on the camera then delete. one of the guys coming on our trip is adamant that he is going to have a camera placed on one of his shirt buttons just so he knows what the hell happened to him.

I love this idea! Although i still can't watch some of the video's we have from Vegas, soooo drunk in all of them.

I love the idea as well, although im not sure that i would ever want to watch myself drunk...although, when you have that moment of i cant remember whaat happened at 1am, you could rewind your recording and check for yourself, that way if your mind was trying to surpress a "moment" for you, you could remind it nicely what you did and have a laugh (or cry) to yourself. I physically cannot wait to be back next April!!

LOL..... I can't even count how many doctors, lawyers, pilots I have met in Vegas!!! I use the terms very loosely....very.....
Our favourite persona's to use are that we are sheep shearers from the Yukon... and that we are in town for the wizard sleeve convention.....hahaha only in Vegas!

If a guy was really smart he would say he's on disability because the has a third "leg" and its simply impossible to work with it.. its just too big....

No i really don't like watching myself drunk, i might just try taking a photo every hour so i have a timeline of where i was/who i was with It would definately have made this TR easier to write. Wish we had another trip planned Can't plan anything until we know if Catherine will be at uni next year and when she can get time off.
