best suite? price, location, crowd, etc

i'm currently in afghanistan and planning a post-deployment shindig with some buddies (probably 6 or so, guys and girls) in mid october. i'm thinking the ph towers 2br looks good, as does the mgm sig - but location wise probably ph towers. any thoughts/suggestions?

we're planning on hitting up the jimmy buffett concert on the 15th and hopefully doing bottle service a couple nights out and about. hopefully it'll be an epic trip

Venetian has nice suites- 700 -1100 sq ft. Great location. Weekends looking at about $260/night

If you subscribe to their email offers you can get a pretty good deal at Venetian/Palazzo.

For this weekend got a deal for 199 a night. Two connecting bella suites for about the same price as 1 2 BR at PH.

More space and more beds and Venetian has a great location - great day/nightlife on property plus the WynnCore stuff w/in walking distance. Cosmo is a cheap cab ride away as well.

No because the only thing I would have wanted to upgrade to would have been the Lago 2 bedroom and a sandwich wouldn't get that done

I'm in town shortly and a couple buddies booked a 2br suite at PH towers. I'm not staying there myself, but I will let you know what its like. if its worth it (i'll check what they paid) and all the other details. It looks decent, but I'll have to see for myself. I do know it is sort off out of the way, but I'll be sure to count how many drunken steps from the strip to lobby.

Yea I guess I could have tried for a higher floor with a view but it wasn't a big deal. I wasn't the one checking in either.

We were low (15th floor) and view wasn't great but wasn't terrible





Personally I don't care that much about the view unless the room has a balcony

thanks for the info - looks like the 2br at ph towers is a pretty good way to go... anyone who has stayed there - how is it going through the mall to the casino/strip? pain in the ass? how long from room to the action?!

my friends and i recently did a trip for our friend who was leaving for afganastan, we got 2, 2 br suites at PH.... i was never actually in the room at night after the first night there so i cant really remember the view. but the room was badass
