Do Independent VIP hosts who dont work directly for a club earn a commission from the club?

Just wondering because we have been offered the services of one for a trip to July and said he can get the same price as the clubs can but can pull a few more strings....

Think about it...why would someone who doesn't work for the club be able to pull more strings than someone who does?

So it's better to go with independent host if you know they are trustworthy and people can vouch for them?

No, generally speaking it's better to deal with hosts who work directly for the club.

There are some independent hosts who can deliver on what they promise, but you're usually going to pay more if you go that route. And if push comes to shove on a busy night, the club is going to take care of their direct host's clients over independent host's clients.

I used an Indy Host that was recommended to me by a friend... He actually went to my HS... And is listed on JC.com (Noah Auspitz)... When I first called him I was in negotiation with a Vanity host from JC.com about this situation... 4 guys 2 bottles & a handshake for a specific table location... The Club Host wouldn't commit to the table location and asked for more handshake to make it happen... Noah got me the exact table location I was asking for before any handshake... In the end I paid the exact same amount including a 200 tip to my indy host...

One thing that I liked was the host pays everything for you... They grease the other host, they pay for the bottles and they tip the servers... The only way for them to make money is either a kickback from the clubs or a discounted bottle price...

The way I understand indy hosts is this... Those that bring consistent business to a club can get better table locations & discounted bottles and this is how they make their money... On the spread...
