  • Females Ordering Bottles

I get that Vegas is about throwing money around like it means sh*t all but as a group of females coming down to Vegas who don't want to be bottle rats and would like somewhere to rest our weary feet, clubs don't seem to be too accomodating. I'm heading down for a bachelorette party (5 of us in total) and for the luxury of sitting down without dirty old men trying to rub up on us, we are forced to buy two bottles. Do clubs not realize that between 5 girls we probably won't polish off two bottles of vodka? I'm starting to wonder if there any clubs in Vegas who don't force these ridiculous minimums (we were told it would be $1,600 for 2 bottles, tax and tip at Marquee.. that's something like $575 a bottle? Really? Even by Vegas standards that's pretty high or am I totally out of touch with what liquor costs down there these days?)

Are there any clubs who are a bit more accomodating that don't totally blow balls?

I'm going to Vegas with a group of 5 girls as well! And we got really reasonable bottle minimum quotes (1 bottle or about $500) from every club but Marquee and XS. We personally decided to go with Tao and Surrender, but I think you'll be fine as long as you stay away from the uber popular super clubs. So just don't try to get bottle service at Marquee and XS lol.

Are you sure you can’t finish two bottles; my standard group of 4 girls can easily finish two bottles? Plus we supplement with shots and beers. Two bottles isn’t actually that much.

Over a few hours I think y'all would finish the bottles. And don't some clubs let you keep the leftover liquor?

          +1

Even 5 guys can get 1 bottle or $500 minimum at many clubs. Marquee and XS are the hottest clubs right now and they are the 2 exceptions. Hit up some of the JC approved hosts at any of the other clubs you are interested in and you should be able to work something favorable out. Just remember to add a good 30% on top of the minimum plus $100 for your host when budgeting

Plenty of clubs will give a group of girls a 1 bottle min... Just not the top top clubs...

2 of the girls aren't huge drinkers so 3 of us would be left to take care of the majority of the liquor. I think I'll shop around a bit more and see what we can come up with.

Try Jet, LAX, Chateau, Gallery. I've heard of good deals for groups of girls from these locations.

Our Bachelorette party of 11 was able to get buy1get1 at Ghostbar. Plus we didnt set up anything ahead of time, we went there right after dinner at N9NE and decided to stay so we asked and got what we wanted. Im certain that wouldnt have worked at XS and other locations but the crowd was good and we were all having a good time.

Paying $1600 for 2 bottles at Marquee is not the norm. Are you going through a 3rd party host?

Tax and tip does equal 38%, unless it is holiday pricing I'm pretty sure bottles are $450ish.

as others mentioned, you can probably find some better pricing. keep in mind however that you're paying for the real estate more than the alcohol. whether or not you can finish two bottles of liquor isn't relevant (e.g. you can order champagne and invite new friends to drink with you ), it's about the club maximizing the value of its finite real estate.

For whatever it's worth, last week I got quoted a $1500 minimum for a patio at Marquee by one of the hosts written about in the host appreciation thread... but if that's not the norm, then what is?

                              Males ordering bottles (add on)

I did a search for my questions and this is the closest I could find so I'm adding two more here:

I see that tipping is pretty much required to matter what you do upfront but want to make sure I know what is appropriate and what isn't.
                              1. If I make arrangements w/ a host (suggested from this website) for bottle service at a decent club, do I need to tip them upon arrival (handshake)? If so, for what?, to get a decent table? how much? Or, should I ask them upfront since some clubs have polices against that?

                              2. Say, I just get passes from Vegas.com for 5 guys just to get in the door. I'm sure I'll have to wait some amount of time to get in (hopefully less than those w/o passes), and again, do I need to grease the doorman (again for what)?

I only get to Vegas once every couple years but seems like tipping has gotten out of control, got to be a better way to pay those who work in service industry - way too many unwritten rules.

Thanks for any and all help!
