  • Who has been to the Foundation Room?

Very interested in checking out the Foundation Room when it opens to the public after 10pm. What is it like? I hear they have a patio with a great view, but is the patio area big? I hear they have music playing, but can you dance there? Also, can you find a place to sit if you don't pay for bottle service?

if the entire patio is open, grab a spot by the rail, which is arguably the best view in town. not a lot of dancing going on as it's a small room, and i'd guess the seating is BS now.

I went there a few years ago before it was open to the public. The view from the patio is epic. I'd be very interested to hear a trip report about what it's like now and what the bottle service prices are.

Foundation Room was one of my favorite kickoff spots for many years when it was private, because the view was killer, the service was awesome, and the crowd was good (my profile pic is on the balcony there). Perfect spot to grab a drink and enjoy the view. It would wind down around 11 and we'd head off to a club. I did BS in February there for the 1st time since it was opened to the public because the bachelor insisted, and it was just okay. Good tunes (top 40/hip-hop), lots of people dancing, but still very loungey. Kind of a ghostbar feel to it. Older crowd as well. We punched out at 1 and hit Tryst. Bottom line: the view still kicks a&%, the service is still great, but I would not make it the last or only stop of the night.
