Gold Lounge - Open Bar

Hey Guys,

I arrive in Vegas Thursday 7th July and i noticed that Gold Lounge do an open bar on Thursday nights....$20 i believe, it runs from 9-11. Looks a good opporunity for some pre drinking although if we leave at 11 we obviously would need to have something arranged at a club so we can get in as that is quite late. Has anyone been to Gold Lounge and more importantly witnessed the open bar?

2011 NYE pre party was at Gold bar.

I was there and it was open bar. Get a drink.. and as you are finishing it start walking back for the next one. I believe you were limited to a certain type of vodka, tequila, beer, and something else.

Thanks for posting this. I was just wondering the same thing. We're heading there the 9-12 and we're going to an early show and then going to give this a shot. I can't believe they have an open bar for girls AND guys on a Saturday night. I read some reviews on yelp and most people we're favorable to it and hell, I could have fun in a paper bag.

We thought about after plans but just never made it that far. Might just do a night cap or two at Chandelier.

My buddy and I went there back in late March for the open bar only $20 for I believe just wells and domestics. Went in with low expectations because several people told us not go there, but it was a great way to start the night. Maybe we just got lucky that night but ratio was about 4 girls to 1 guy so we couldn't complain. Probably could have stayed there and just as good of a time as we did at a Tier 1 club.

Had a couple friends that did the open bar this past Saturday. They raved about it. My buddy was able to get Jack Daniels with it so apparently you can get some decent hooch too. Not just that stuff that had a plain label and says "vodka" on it. AKA death in a bottle

I just contacted my host at ARIA to ask and her response was:

You are correct that Gold Lounge does have an open bar, which is available from 10pm to 12am on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with cover charge being $10 for ladies and $20 for gentlemen, though this is subject to management’s discretion.

so yes... open bar all 3 nights!

Im a big fan of the Open Bar at Gold. Its a great place to start your night, especially if you're older than 25. Price is right and its got a good vibe to get you headed in the right direction before you hit the bigger clubs later on. Ive had a few nights where I never left cuz we met a bunch of cool people and just stuck around.

think the plan for the 7th is to head there take advantage of the open bar and then head to Haze

They've been having a pretty good crowd for this promotion recently, alot of people start their night there and end up staying..

Last time I was there (about a week ago) the place was hopping already at 10pm and there was easily a 2:1 girl:guy ratio...

yea i think its a good idea for a night where u might not wanna hit the clubs or just start the pregaming at...ill keep this in mind but its so hard to remember everything
