Tao Advice?

I called the number on their website and got connected to someone in charge of reservations. She took down my information and said that a VIP host would contact me soon. Just wondering if anyone had any tips on what to ask the VIP host for. Does Tao assign tables ahead of time? What areas are best for table service? And is Tao pretty good about letting you keep your table all night? I've been to some places that start trying to get you out as soon as your bottle is done. Any other tips would be appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance for any advice. This is my first time doing a table at Tao. Have done it at BE past few times plus once at Rain back in the day.

Hey there.. it might be quicker to contact Larson Legris from Tao directly. He is the Tao host that handles all of the table referrals from this site, and is usually pretty quick to answer all incoming emails and phone calls. Find his info by visiting main page of jackcolton.com and scrolling down a bit.

They took down my information, but still haven't called back yet. I've called back and they said to wait a few more days. Would it be considered bad form for me to go ahead and just give Larson a call and set it up through him? I don't want to step on any toes.

If you called Larson with no reply, I have a guy that was recommended to me and it worked out pretty good.
