  • Hamburg saying Hi there :)

Greetings ppl in here from Hamburg/Germany!

I've been reading along as a guest for some days now,
and im pretty sure it is a good idea to register

Im a vegas-addicted for about 12 years now,
and i've visited about 6 times in the last 4 years.
Each trip is at least 12-13 hours of flight, but who cares,
    its vegas, right?

Right now im thinking about trip no. 7 somewhere in october
this year.. final decision will be made in the beginning of
august. We'll be three guys coming to Vegas for a week
of gambling, shopping and hopefully alot of fun

So i guess this is the right place to get useful hints,
specially on clubbing and nightlife. Been to Jet two times
during the last trip.. had alot of fun even without BS.
This time we'll try to celebrate into my birthday, so im
looking for suggestions where to go for that, preferrably
    with BS this time.

We're aged 25 to 33 (well, then 34 ),no cheapskates
but no highrollers either, so im not looking for a bottle
    of champagne for 15k

Oh, before i forgot: Please dont mind my english...
I've tried my very best, but its hard to practice on a
regular base over here... everytime you start talking
in english, all the ppl just give you some kind of WTF look

Thanks to everony in here for sharing lots and lots and lots
    of hints.... really appriciate that!

    Regards
    Marcus

Guten Tag Warren & sweat shop

        Thanks for the welcome.
I've been around on Halloween in 2008, and it was a hell lot of fun.
Sadly i got some business to do over here around halloween this year,
so there is only a chance to have a trip between 10/01 and 10/15.
Most likely it will be 10/08 to 10/15.

On the other hand then, i can celebrate my birthday on 10/14 in Vegas,
which could be a nice evening as well. 10/13 is a thursday, so there'll be
industry night at the clubs, right? I wonder if its a good idea of getting
BS on that night in a club, and i got to figure out which club to go.
My buddies are more or less into house music, i'm a little more open
minded and like almost everything from r'n'b to metal and even country,
so house will be fine for me as well. Any suggestions on that?

        @Warren:
Depending on WHERE you wanna go over here in germany, you might not
need rosetta stone. In big cities like Berlin or my hometown Hamburg
you should be fine with english, at least in the common places a tourist
surely wants to visit. In the southern parts of germany there were alot
of US facilities around in the past, and there are some facilities still now,
so there might be a slightly higher chance of finding someone speaking
english even though you're not in a big city

        Regards
        Marcus
