  • Marquee Blazer/T-shirt combo Ok?

    I see it says collared shirts.. is a blazer/t-shirt combo ok? I have only once ever had a problem and that was at Tao. We had a booth and they still made me buy a dress shirt at the door . We ended up going to Rain instead.

    I don't want a repeat at Marquee, we have a table booked it's July 4th weekend I don't want to take any chances.

    If you dont want to take any chances then I wouldn't consider it. Wear a button up and be done with it.

      Button ups are so boring.. I've only worn one once in 3 years of vEgas trips and xs never had a problem. I guess they just don't suit me

        collared shirt, dark jeans, dress shoes.

        don't count on your clothes to make you seem less boring; you're gonna have to count on your dashing personality to do that.

          How far is your hotel from Cosmo?

          If you want to wear it go for it. A blazer technically has a collar right?

            go for a "throw away" button up.

            wear a button up in, take it off and toss it afterwards

                  @not a vet but no rookie: I am staying at cosmo.. and good point about the collar on the blazer

                  Jack Colton's site says: Collared shirt or Sport Coat a must

                  so I'm guessing the "or" means t shirt.

                  Imo the blazer/designer t combo looks way classier/more swag than a dress shirt, unless it's really sick Arnold zimberg style.

                  @gubuju that is pretty genius!

                    I think if you rock a collared shirt you can really pull it off, if it's like $200+ and really high quality. But my "guess" collared shirts seem too boring for vegas, specially when my friends rock really nice tailored armani, gucci dress shirts that you can tell are really high quality.

                      Blazer and shirt button up shirt over shirt throw away shirt is great but it's summer and may be hot outside or when traveling after, etc... To me during the summer less is better. Yes button ups are boring but I search all year for really nice high quality ones that fit perfect so I feel good and 'vegas worthy'... You know, better ones than you would wear at home.

                        I agree that button ups can be boring and that's why I look for colors that most people don't wear or wear plaid button ups
