  • Planet Hollywood 2 Bedroom Suite

Hi all! So I'm trying to plan ahead for my Vegas trip in August, and was originally thinking of going with Imperial Palace/The Flamingo and get a few different rooms.

However, after thinking about it (and trying to figure out who would crash in what room, etc.), I thought that maybe just getting a suite would be easier.

So I've been looking up some suites that would fit about 8-10 guys and girls, and came across the PH 2 Bedroom Suite.

Would anyone recommend this, or are there any other suggestions? We're trying to keep it under $100 each person for the weekend.

    Thanks!

Something to keep in mind is that even though it's two bedrooms, each bedroom only has 1 king bed. I'm not even sure if the couch in the living room pulls out.

I can tell you that it is plenty big and has gotten good reviews on here, but 8-10 people might be pushing it when you realistically only have 2 beds.
    Vegas Trips to-date:
    November 12-13, 2008 - Palms Standard
March 18-22, 2009 - MGM Grand Bungalow Suite
April 22-26, 2010 - MGM Grand Bungalow Suite
    June 2-6, 2011 - Venetian Bella Suite
June 21-26, 2012 - Cosmopolitan Wraparound Terrace Suite

If you'll have 8 people, you could do a 2br suite at MGM Signature (basically a 1br + junior suite side by side). As with the PH rooms though, they are only king sized beds, but each room has a pull out queen size sofa bed.

Don't book through the hotel though, you can get a way better deal going privately. Check VRBO. Last time my group used these guys: http://www.lasvegassignaturerentals.com/index.html. I believe we paid something like $125 each for 6 people splitting a 2br suite.

It can sleep 8... The Room I had included 2 kings & 2 queen pullouts... I'd ask the booking clerk about the pullouts as some units don't have two pullouts... There is a discount using AAA (Triple A)... Only discount they offer... Using AAA I got it @ 4 nights (thurs-mon) @1300... The room has a real wow factor... 5 min walk to any casino... I liked it better than Palms Place which I did last year for the same price using my rewards pts... I'd go back with any group larger than 6...

i'd go with signature if your group is more chill. more space. the bar in signature makes great blackberry mojitos and other girly drinks.

Yeah the sleeping arrangements was why I was looking into just getting 3 rooms at a cheaper hotel (ie IP or Flamingo) so everyone would have a bed. But honestly, I don't know if anyone is going to care that much. Not everyone knows each other (I have 2 jobs and people are coming from both jobs), so I was worried about people sharing rooms/beds ya know?

I'll double check to see what pull outs they have.. but I don't know how much we'll be sleeping in general haha, especially since we're going on the weekend for my birthday!

You might try Marriott grand château its across the street from Ph towers on harmon and they have two bedroom villas that all have four beds usually two kings and two fold outs or one king two doubles and a foldout. They sometimes have a three bedroom villa available which I believe has six or seven individual beds. Definitely not a party hotel but its a nice quiet place to stay that's in the middle of the strip half block up a side street.

I've got a two bedroom villa booked June 30th-June 5th and with AAA discount it ended up $1190 split four ways. Also incidental fees are only $50 a night. The pool is tiny and there aren't any restaurants but if you're just going out and partying and only sleeping/pre gaming its perfect.

Here's a review which shows a layout of the basic floor plan. But judging from some of the YouTube Videos, The room which has the additional Queen Pullout seems to vary. But, I'm sure you could verify this upon check-in. Not all the rooms seem to have the same floor plan as listed. I was in a 1 bedroom suite which they referred to as a 'high floor studio suite.' I was a one bedroom, but didn't have all the amenities that are shown in the layout above. No L shaped couch, full kitchen, or projection screen. But, it was still nice regardless.

I was definitely interested in booking a hotel... and then my friend decided to go ahead and book a house. lol. So apparently we're staying in a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house (with a pool and stripper pole!) "5 minutes" from the strip. But if we cab it to the strip at like 7pm and are there the rest of the night it won't be too bad. No clue if it's ACTUALLY 5 minutes from the strip, but it's $700 total for the whole weekend, so not too bad.

Stripper pole? This should provide us with some very entertaining pics from the trip, right?
