Bachelor Party After Labor Day, worth it?

My best man is trying to plan my bachelor party, and we are of course doing Vegas. Wanted to do it the same weekend as my girl, which is October 15th. However, ive heard that all the pools like Tao Beach, Encore, etc. close after Labor day.

Is that true? And second question, is it worth it to go in October? Will we still see good talent at the night clubs?

Im all about the music and want to make sure we have some good DJs to see while there.

Our other option is try to do it in August.

August would be better for the pools, but a few will still be open in Oct. Weather will be hit or miss.

Night clubs will be good either month.

Some of the pool parties last until sometime in September. I know a few years back Rehab had it's last one of the season on the last week of September. I'm not too sure of the dates, best bet is to contact the hosts and ask them when for a rough idea.

Actually, the weekend right after LDW is a pretty good weekend to go.
