I imagine this question comes up every single year around this time, so please bear with me.
A group of four girls in our 20s are coming to Las Vegas for the 4th of July weekend (specifically June 30th-July 5th). We are trying to minimize the wait time we might experience at some of the bigger clubs. I imagine we will go balls-out one or two nights during our stay and maybe keep it lower-key for the rest of our trip (lounges, etc.). We are interested in hanging out at Tao on either Friday or Saturday night, possibly experiencing the magic that is Pure, maybe hitting Ghostbar (which we consider relatively chill in comparison to some of the megaclubs), and hitting Rehab on Sunday during the day. Our plan is pretty flexible, so other suggestions for clubs/lounges are certainly welcome.
I have never been to Vegas during the 4th of July weekend and imagine the rules are different than they might be during a non-holiday weekend. So, my question is, is it possible/worthwhile to try to get on club guest lists or should we just to try our luck with the bouncers at the clubs we decide to visit? I know conventional wisdom suggests that groups of women tend to have better luck, but I also tend to be an OCD-lite planner who wants to show my girls the best possible time in Vegas. So, any insight is greatly appreciated!
