info from vets on march 2012 asap

hey guys, long time reader small time poster

basically i need an answer from vegas vets. Anyone been in march?

Me and 4 boys are heading march 4th till 14th (10 nights) staying planet hollywood 2br suite.

Coming from australia!
What will the crowds/weather be like? ive done research on the net but id love some first hand experience.

Were looking just go run a muck, breakfest of champions every morning etc

but want to make shore it will be ok? we were going january but pushed it to march hoping to catch extra few degrees in temp and maybe some spring break girls?

any info would be great. need asap as we are booking in the next few days.

A lot of the pool parties don't start up until April and May so you might be missing out on some of that. Otherwise, you should be okay. You can also do a search to see if there's any conferences/expos/special events going on during your dates.

crowds will be great like almost every weekend. Weather is up in the air, can be cold or warm or rainy or perfectly clear. Either way Vegas clubs are crowded every weekend of the year except round christmas.

is it only packed on a weekend? its heaps cheaper for us to arrive on a sunday (flights mainly)
and leave on a wensday. so we only experience one full weekend..

the ASD conference starts march 11th. a sunday. 41,000 people expected.

Im completely up in the air with dates. can anyone with high knowledge say;
best go a week before,
best be there for 2 weekends (worth the extra cash?? alot more!)
best go week after
when you going is fine

Not just weekends. There are good places to party each night. Trust me. 10 days you'll be more than fine. Don't worry about not having a good time. Worry about making it out alive.

As for the dates... hard to say, dj schedules and what not aren't out, might be new clubs that open round the new year that change the dynamic of where to go on which nights. Different conferences might pop up.

But If i were to choose, I'd maybe time it around mid to late march with some NCAA march madness mixed in there or some st. patty's day partying and maybe a pool party of 2 might open up.

I think were going to get our prices for 1st march till 11th., that way its 2 weekends there. they dont seem to bad, we were going in january for my 21st but decided to push it back 2 months for little bit warmer weather etc.

dont think the boys would appreciate it if i tried to push it back few more weeks lol.

any other input would be awesome.

I was there this past march from the 6th to the 12th and there were more than enough spring break girls to go around....

Also stayed at PH, and it is def. a good time

For the past 2 years i've gone to Vegas in March for my birthday and its always been a good time. Like everyone else said always a place and day to party so you should have fun when you make it out there.

Like drew said, Christmas is pretty much the only time the clubs are dead. Some even close to gear up for NYE.

You're going to have a good time either way, so don't worry about that. The weather in early March is a total gamble, some days are beautiful, some days are freezing with winds and rain and whatnot. In years past during the Nascar race in early March, I remember it being 90 degrees one year, and the next year it actually snowed in the morning for a little bit. I wouldn't worry about missing the weekend time, the parties during the week are just as fun, and it's less of a hassle, but the clubs are still packed. There will be some spring break crowds already in town, but you'll be here before the March Madness crowd.
