  • Prices at nightclubs in Vegas

Just doing a bit of research now on different clubs and have contacted some people in regards to getting into some of them for an upcoming weekend for a bachelor party. There will be 4 of us, which is probably not the most ideal situation as we may or may not be with girls.

Anywho, is it me or are the prices ridiculous just to get into these places? Most people have been quoting that we have to take a table to get in and that the minimum is around 1500$? I mean, we're not a bunch of cheapskates, but there's no way we're going to spend that kind of money to go to one of these places. We're looking to get a bottle, maybe 2, that's it.

What are our other options for nightlife on a Saturday night on June 25th? We'd like to go to a nice club, but honestly, spending 400$ each plus perhaps even waiting in line... not gonna happen, lol.

    Thanks!

I would consider getting the palms wristbands - the ones with the open bar.

Search the forums for more details

You can also look into Tier 2 and 3 clubs and try to find any B1G1 deals. You should be able to find something less than 1500

Your best bet with Tao is to eat dinner at the restaurant the night you want to go to the club. Your waiter will stamp your hand and you get into the club for free.

I'm not familiar with the details but I think as a male you can get the open bar ones, you just have to pay more.

The tao ones don't come with open bar to my knowledge

You should be able to find both wristbands on sites like vegas.com, wanttickets, vegasview, bestofvegas, etc.

Eating dinner at Tao is also an option but you will end up spending a lot at the bar in the club since it sounds like you guys want to drink a lot.

The reason table prices are so ridiculous is because of supply and demand. On any given night, these nightclubs can be packed full with 2,000 to 3,000 people.

If you don't have a table at a Vegas nightclub, it's not like a normal bar in your hometown where you can lean against the wall or grab a bar stool. You will literally be standing all night long and fighting through the sea of people to get drinks by the bar.

Having a table gives you a place to sit, pour from your own bottle, and never wait for drinks. It's paying for the real estate and exclusivity.

On a Saturday night in Vegas with 4 people, you can definitely get away with doing 2 bottles somewhere. Two bottles will run you a flat $950, plus 8.1% tax and 20% gratuity. That puts you at $1,217, and then you're expected to give AT LEAST $100 to the host that sets up your reservation and walks you in. The reason you do that is because the host can make or break your night - they could bump your reservation off the books and give it to someone else willing to spend the same or more money, or they can help you out by giving you a decent table location based on the money you're spending.

All told, you're looking at about $1,350 to $1,400 after ALL TAXES AND TIPS for 2 bottles on a Saturday night in Vegas. Spending that money between 4 people comes to $350/person, and that'll make sure you don't wait in line, you don't pay cover, and that you have a place to sit with PLENTY of alcohol to get you drunk during the night.

Having 2 bottles is such that you can bring a couple of girls back to your table and have a way better shot of making connections or hooking up, too.

See above! As a group of guys, by the time you've paid cover, tips, and rounds of drinks (especially when you factor in buying some drinks for girls) you'll have spent nearly $250-$300 each anyway. I know I'd much spend my money having our own table!

Ehh there's ways to spend much less than that

We pre-game hard, get there early so don't have to worry about paying extra to skip the line.

I'm a heavy drinker and the biggest tab I've had was ~$200 and none of my friends have even been close to that. That's why I can never convince them to do BS. They just don't think the "real estate" is worth it and we don't need a table to pull.

On the expensive side a mixed drink with a nice tip can run you $20 in a tier 1 spot. 10 mixed drinks is unnecessary if you have pre-gamed right.

I also don't buy girls drinks right off jump street. There has to be something there where I think I have a chance of closing.

There is a significant price difference between doing GA and BS and there's a reason for it like Brett mentioned.

But you can be very successful without BS if you pregame hard and have decent game.

I've done BS a few times and while it may be easier to get a girl's attention having a table it doesn't change much in the fact of closing.

Without BS it is harder to open but just have energy and be confident and it's still not hard.

You're right, and pre-gaming is sometimes the best part of a night, but even then it's easy to get carried away in a club and rounds, shots and drinks for girls can easily see you spend your BS money.

I've never really used the fact that I've got BS as a pulling technique. I also regularly buy drinks for girls even if I'm not interested in them sexually if we're having a good laugh...maybe it's a Scottish thing!
