First time in Vegas/Lavo questions

My buddies and I are going to Vegas for the first time for a friend's birthday party. Staying at the Palazzo.

We'd like to go to a club Saturday night, but don't want to break the bank. Was thinking Lavo - can we get any sort of line privileges/discounts because we're staying at the affiliated hotel?

Recommendations on reservations/tables/contacts are appreciated. Heck, any sort of tips are appreciated, since we've never done it before haha...
