Ok, so I did a search in the forums for "LAX" and nothing showed up? Which made me wonder, is this the only LAX mention on the forums? Has the place fallen off that far? I had a good time when I was there last year, and a I will be rolling with a couple people that wanted to hit it up. Anyone got an update on LAX?

The search feature isn't working for shit. But those are some good mentions of LAX. I had a great time at LAX during Mayvasion. The music was on point and the entire group of us were on the dancefloor at one point. I really enjoyed myself.

Went there on a Wednesday at the end of March and it was good times. Pretty crowded, good mix of hip hop and top 40, diverse crowd

Well it also goes to show, the party is where you make it, I've done LAX before, had an ok time, ain't trying to do it again...it was a wednesday night ran into Morris Day (from Morris Day and the Time) all I remember was he was really short.

Not every spot is a Tier 1, but I ain't wasting a Tier 1 night on a Tier X club

crowds went down hill.. they still have a few great nights.. just didnt like the direction they went

i went a few months after the grand opening in Oct of whatever year that was. Packed everyone in like sardines, no room to do anything. music was ok. they charged me $18 for a shot of hennessy. horrible, never again. If you go bottle service is a must unless u like being chest to chest all night with sweaty stinky people.

Interesting takes........ some enjoyed it, some didnt. I had a good time there last year though.
Thing is........ Im not a type who needs to do Tier 1 spots every night Im in Vegas. Shit, im getting too old any way. LOL Plus doing that gets a bit expensive for small time ballers such as myself. My daughter wants to eat this month.
It helps that last I checked, they played some top 40 / hip hop there. And I happen to be one of those weirdos that likes his songs to have words and stuff.

But seriously, thanks for the input. It seems to simply be a case where "it is what you make of it".

I went to LAX on NYE 2011 and people where trying to pick pocket me and my homie on the dance floor. His would have gotten jacked but his pocket was buttoned.
