  • Tao Wristbands or table

Going to Vegas for my birthday with a group of 5-6 (3 guys, 2-3 girls) July 15-17 and planning to go to Tao at least Saturday night. A few of us have been a few times but don't really remember too much about Tao (too much fun, not that it was forgettable...)

Anyway just wanted to ask for some advice regarding how best to manage the weekend. We are considering either the wristbands from e.g. Wanttickets.com or possibly table service at Tao Beach. The main thing is to get in without the hassle of a line which it seems the wristbands allow but it would be nice to have a place to sit and relax, of course this comes at a price. Also, it looks like the wristbands would get us into Tao Beach which we might make use of.

Can anyone confirm whether these wristbands work to bypass the line? Or should I try with a host and be better off with a table? We aren't adverse to buying a couple bottles and taking care of a host but obviously want to spend our money effectively. We may get there in time to go out Friday night as well so if a host can help us get in somewhere else in town that might be of value to us also.

    Thanks!

They do allow you to bypass the line, but you will have a MUCH better experience overall at Tao if you get a table. Trust me, I've done both, and Tao isn't a club you want to be in without a table if you can swing it.

Yeah clearly it would be nicer to have a table. I'll contact some hosts here and see if we can work something out, but it's nice to at least know that the wristbands will help.

If you don't want to get a table and you still want to avoid the line, you can get the most bang for your buck by setting dinner reservations at Tao for around 8:30-9:00pm that night.

If your whole group orders an entree, you will get a stamp on your hand that allows you to go up to the club without waiting in line or paying cover.

If you plan on going to Tao and Tao Beach the wristbands are a good deal. Not worth it if you're only going to one of the venues (Tao/Tao Beach/Lavo) once. Dinner would be a better option

The table makes everything much more enjoyable.. You won't get a drink spilled on you most of the time. Ect.
I once had a guy drop a beer on my head in the middle of the dance floor. It gets that packed.
