Tao Opium Room Vs. Marquee Boom Box?

myself and 4 buddies are going to vegas in august and while we are fans of rap/hip hop we understand that most major clubs in Vegas are EDM and were completely cool with that. One night out we wanted to check out a hip hop room and I was wondering which you guys prefer

vs.
Marquee Boom Box on Saturday

The boombox room is cool...MArquee is now my fav club by far. The bank on sundays is also good for hiphop.

Both are good but right now I'd have to go with Marquee. You can always do both nights and go to XS on Friday for your EDM fix

Definitely BBR.

Opium Room is a bit quiet for me. I can deal with the main room music in Tao, they throw in the odd Top 40 hit which is ok with me.

The music in BBR is immense and the tables are awesome too, you can just cherry pick girls from the dancefloor.

any idea on where the "boombox" patio is? I just got quoted 1500 for it and I was wondering if it was actually in the room just off to the side towards the back where its a little separated or its actually not in the room at all

You probably want to confirm with the host to be sure, but I would assume it is the area outside of the Boombox Room where they have the bathroom, small outdoor bar and a half dozen or so tables now. If so, you can hear the music and it may be nice being outside, but you're definitely away from the scene of the Boombox room and you may have to deal with people standing close to your table and walking back and forth to the stairs up to the Dayclub patio.

ya never mind. Using another host I actually got into the room and with good seating. Never hurts to shop around boys

Can anyone comment on the size of the boombox room and overall crowd there? I just read a review that said it was small and had no real dance floor. That could be a killer

It is small but there is definitely a dance floor. There is enough room to get crazy to the hip hop. Only thing that sucks is trying move from one side of the room to the other.

The OPM room is bigger but not by that much in my drunken estimation. I hit Tao on Friday and Marquee on Sat and definitely had more fun in the boom box room.

The crowd is really good. In my experience better than what you'll see at Jet, LAX, and other places that have hip hop

I think that's the tables outside but the boombox room is extra crowded tho... The music is good but it's crowded in there. The only good VIP is the one by the ramp to the left of the DJ the right of the DJ it looked Hella packed too

If you can make your way to the very back of the dance floor by the VIP tables, I have found there is slightly more room to dance there.
