  • Need a Catering service recommendation ASAP!!!!

Hi all. For the moment, my parents and cousins are in town. There are about 15 of us. I have a huge suite and want to have food delivered to the room for dinner tonight. Looking at spending about $25 per person. Don't wanna pay restaurant a la carte prices, so do you know someone that will make dishes with chafing trays and all that?

    Thanks in advance.

The hotel will frown upon (and probably charge you for) getting outside food/drink professionally brought into your suite.

Many of the hotels have a policy against this and force you to do in-suite dining from one of their restaurants.

Even if you sneak it, it'll be hard to get all of that equipment and stuff past the elevator guards.

I don't have any recommendations for specific caterers, but I work with caterers a lot. In addition, to the hotel frowning upon this, I think you will be hard pressed to find a decent caterer to do this for that price. You are asking them to make all your food, deliver the food, provide all of the service ware (flatware, stemware, chaffers, serving pieces, plates etc), then pick it all up a few hours later for $375. Or would you be willing to pay the caterer a service fees and delivery fees on top of the $25 per plate?

What about just ordering from room service?
