  • Just booked at the HRH for August

I just booked a trip at the HRH through Orbitz. I found a 5% off code and they were having 30% off rooms until tomorrow. I'm staying Thurs-Mon. I'm booked in their Paradise Tower. I'm going to do the sandwich trick with a $50 for a better room.

Hopefully the HRH isnt to rowdy for this Preschool teacher!

If anyone has stayed there lately, i would appreciate any tips. I'm going solo if that helps. I usually go to the palms, but the palms has gotten stale and boring IMO.

    Thanks everyone!

Any tips about the pool situation would be nice. I do get into Rehab for free i assume. I hear Vanity is nice. I'm not sure what other clubs are there, ive never even stepped foot in the place b4.
There is one that does concern me, how does seating work at Rehab and other days for that matter? I dont want a cabana or daybed, is there regular loungers available like at the palms? I was looking for general tips about the place to make my life easier while i'm there from others who have been there.

Vanity is nice. Friday, Sat, and Sunday should be good nights there. Contact ***** Sweet for help if you want to get a table or maybe he can help with guestlist.

They have some concerts and what not at the Joint sometimes
The center bars in the casinos get a fair amount of activity as well.

rehab...may or may not get in for free (assuming you mean the Rehab sunday party). Lines can get crazy for rehab on Sunday.

Be sure to check-in at the main reception counter for Casino & Paradise Towers... but then bring your hiking shoes, as you're gonna go thru the main casino down a long hall way... past Pink Taco, keep goin'... past Starbuck, keep goin'... past the Tatoo joint, keep goin'... till you see a sign that says, "Welcome to N. Las Vegas!" Not really, but it'll seem like it... you'll turn left go past another little coffee place and then you'll be at the elevators to the Paradise Tower. Yeah it's a bit of a walk, but the tower is nice.

Pool view rooms will get a lot of the music noise from the pool area (note you're there on a weekend) and moutain-view, much quieter but contends with the parking structure for most of the lower floors.

Check-out Johhny Smalls... great tapas (appetizer) food and you won't feel like a single in there... you'll see what I mean. Mr. Lucky's 24/7 has outstanding diner-fare type food.

The Luxe Bar in the HRH Tower is worth checkin'-out as well. It's a newer version of the Circle Bar, but to date doesn't draw the crowd. I like it better, as I like to play video-poker and the whole ambiance for that over there is fantastic!

That said, the gaming paytables and slot paybacks have been tightened up some since the new management has taken over... you can still get lucky anywhere, but HRH isn't known as a "local's gaming spot like Palms is. HRH's tables games area is as lively and fun as anywhere late at night. Love Hells Belles area out front with the dancers.

Hope you have a blast... let us know how it turns out!

Feel free to email me directly with any questions that you have, I'm happy to help. As far as Rehab goes, we do have lounge chairs available around the pool, but each chair comes with a food and beverage minimum for the day to reserve the chair. We don't take reservations for chairs in advance, they are all sold first come first served. As a hotel guest, you can check in at the entrance that is only for people staying at the hotel, which cuts down on the wait time. What a lot of people do is arrive at 9am, when we open the pool for hotel guests (10am for cabana guests and non hotel guests), and check in to get their wristband, and then go back up to their rooms for a couple more hours of sleep. Once you have the wristband, you can go in and out without waiting in the line every time. So if you can wake up early for that, it will definitely make the rest of your day go smoother when you want to come in to Rehab. Johnny Smalls is definitely a fun place to go for a good time, some good food, and not too much money. The Paradise tower rooms are very nice, I'm sure you'll be pleased with your room, upgrade or not. And yes, the walk is a bit of a hike to get from main registration to the Paradise Tower, but the Hard Rock is a smaller hotel than a lot of the spots on the Strip, so in the grand scheme of things, you'd be walking just as much if you were staying in one the bigger hotels. I'd be happy to help you reserve a table at Vanity if you like, or just put you on our guestlist if that suits you better. If you need anything, email me at [email protected] or 7028063942. Have a great trip

Thanks everyone for your opinions and help.

BSWEET, i do have a question. I've heard the lounge chairs at Rehab are $250, but $100 of that includes food and drink. Is this true? I read it online when i googled Rehab. If I'm wrong, how does it work? I'm new to the rent a chair and minimum price thing.

                  thanks again!

I was there about the same time last August. The pool on Saturday was fairly mild but still a fun time, the casino at the pool was poppin. When we checked in they gave us wristbands. So I think there ma be a cover for non guests that day too. Vanity was actually slow on that Sat night and we left after about a hour. Pink taco was delicious. The center bar has 2-1 drinks startting at 4pm everyday that kicks ass and is always a good time.
