Me and a buddy are heading over to Vegas on 19 - 23 August, but going to Rock The Bells in San Bernardino on the 20th, so Saturday night is out.

We were over last year (from UK), and I was there in '08, so we know the general deal, but looking for ideas for clubs Friday night, Sunday night and Monday night. Ideally, I'd like to go to at least one, and hopefully 2, clubs I've never been to. I've been to Moon, Jet, The Bank, Pure, XS, Vanity and Tryst spread over the 2 times I've been to Vegas. XS was my favourite from that list, but also wouldn't mind returning to The Bank.

I was thinking of Marquee on the Friday night, and possibly Chateau or Gallery on the other nights (if they're open/busy on a Sunday/Monday), but very open to suggestions, especially new clubs that have opened in the past year or two.

Also, preferrably places with party music and hip hop stuff, as I'm reading alot that this type of music has been disappearing since last year? (It was in full force in all the clubs I was in last summer, so this must be a recent development...)

Marquee on a Fri is solid. I will check out Gallery/Chateau and keep you guys posted when I find out more about the place. So far we have been getting good feedback.

Can anyone clear up the hip hop and top 40 versus dance/trance/edm stuff? I was there last summer and all the clubs I went to (XS, Vanity, Pure and Moon) all played hip hop and top 40 stuff, with no or very little EDM. Is this just a new thing, the lack of hip hop, or is it just some clubs? Fuck listening to EDM all night!
