  • Cash vs credit card for bottle / table service

Ok, I just saw a "similar" post, but not exactly the same. And I (honestly) didnt feel like searching other posts, but........

If you are setting up bottle service, is using a credit card REQUIRED? I gave up most "credit" cards years ago after I mis-managed a few when I was younger. Now a keep a couple small balance cards for things like rental cars & hotel reservations. When in Vegas, I am a huge cash guy.

So, lets say I am at the club and going to my table....... Will they ask for a credit card (bank card) or will they just request the cash upfront for the deal that has be set up?

This could change things for me because if i do bottles, I probably wont have everyone's cash in my group in time to throw it back on my card (bank) and back into my Vegas budget in time for usage.

You can just pay upfront in cash for everything at once. It's a little trickier to organise when everyone is already drunk, but we've done this a couple of times and it works fine. At Tao during the Invasion for instance we gave our waitress the full amount of money for all of our bottles including tax and tips, and then had her bring out the bottles as we needed them.

When you pay for ur bottles wit cash they will ask for ur drivers license and bring you ur tab once u picked your bottles. One thing that u should always do is collect the money before you hit the club, this way you make sure u have all the money on you if your paying cash. It can get difficult trying to collect the money at the end once everyone is drunk. But everytime I payed cash I had to pay for the bottles before I even got them.

Thanks all. Yeah, i aint crazy.... cash always upfront in Vegas. I dont care how cool of peeps we are.
I am down to give the club all the cash before we get our bottles. I got no issue with that. I just didnt know if it was possible to roll like that.

Cash is king. No fraudulent charges on cash and much less evidence or paper trail
